The Field Tarot

The media could not be loaded.  Purchased 'The field tarot' after weeks of contemplating over whether to purchase it or not (as someone who is selective over the types of tarot deck purchased), and also not normally too keen on pip type cards in a tarot deck. But these tarot cards are beautifully done, in very gorgeous pastel shades. They are very ethereal and simple but breathtaking at the same time. Not too fussy. As someone else commented they have a slightly similar style and vibe to the Starchild tarot, which we own, and they do have that feel to them. Seem to be good quality card stock too from the first impression. Quick next day delivery via Amazon. Happy with the purchase, and highly recommend them. The guidebook is only small but very concise as it has enough information contained within it, 93 page book, has a description of each card and also keywords, so great for a beginner. A great buy.

I had no idea the Field tarot existed as I had stopped buying decks. It was going to take something out of the ordinary to convince me to put down the money again.The Field Tarot was a 'wow' experience for me - I was instantly impressed. What do I like about this tarot? Great US Games matte cardstock and 2 piece lift off box. Dreamscape style art (reminds me a little of the Starchild Tarot). Eye catching art that interprets established tarot meanings in a new way.The deck is somewhat minimalist in terms of art so I would consider the deck suitable for an intermediate reader rather than for beginners. The art style draws influences from a variety of decks: the overall aesthetic is from the Starchild tarot with some Fountain Tarot thrown in. Imagery appears to draw from the RWS, Thoth and Wild Unknown decks. Also beware that the cards have a keyword at the bottom - this doesn't bother me but your mileage may vary.All in all I'm very pleased with the deck. Anything I'm not so keen on? I do like a good gender balance in my decks and this one leans more towards feminine representation. It's not really an issue, I just prefer a more even male/female split. The minor arcana seem to vary between Thoth Tarot style non-figure symbology and art with people. This is one reason I rate this deck as intermediate level. It's my jam but it might not be yours. The King of Wands looks like Orlando Bloom's Legolas from Lord of the Rings. I'm not sure if that was intentional but I keep picturing Legolas!All in all I rate this as another winning deck from US Games. It's more than another Rider Waite clone and it's well worth a try.

A very beautiful and calming deck a must have for your collection

These are soft in the art work, very beautiful and the cours are gorgeous, for me this feels like a self care deck which is great as ididnt have that in a deck before. The people seem to resemble real characters , alot from movies, maybe just me but it only adds to the reading in my opinion

I love how simple this deck is. I read tarot traditionally and intuitively so, I love how it pushes me to dive deeper into my readings. Thumbs up!

I do enjoy this deck, good card stock, the images have such a nice calm vibe, good for beginners with the key words at the bottom

I was hoping these cards would be bigger, they are normal playing card size...but they are particularly beautiful images, clean, crisp, elegant, one of the most beautiful tarot sets out there. If you can get a jumbo sized set, get that, either size is good though, really nice!

I only received yesterday however have done two very good readings.I must stress I don't feel would be particularly user friendly for the beginner as I think you would have to have a certain amount of knowledge of the tarot in general before using these. I learnt by the traditional Ryder Waite deck which is rich in symbolism.I find myself these cards, like most other tarot decks, are very good at being used with the intermingling of other tarot decks: exp - this deck I used with the after tarot and got both a spiritual insight (from this deck) and a more in depth what action from the After Tarot, although every reader is different. This way works for me very well. I even use other decks together, which are not even related to tarot.Highly recommend.
