I love this machine. It cuts with all my die cuts perfectly with one pass, even the most intricate. It's easy to use with the pictures to remind you of the sandwiches you need for cutting and embossing. I love the way it looks like a little suitcase when closed. It is a little heavy, but I don't mind that. I do think the extra plates needed such as the precision plate for intricate dies, and the magnetic plate for keeping metal dies in place while cutting are expensive, and should be included with the purchase. You surely don't get anything extra with this set. Other machines include multiple dies and embossing plates. It is a good machine.

After having sore hands from using a manual machine, I really appreciate the Vagabond 2. It sets up quickly right out of the box and works very easily and well. Some things that were not cutting cleanly with my manual machine are breezing through this one. It is also a very cute design. The whole thing folds up to look like a small suitcase that you can store in minimal space. Just got it so I hope it lasts because I love it!

This die cutter is the BEST! It cuts easily and every time. There is nothing bad to say about it, except I just heard they were discontinuing it. I am happy that I was able to purchase it before that happened. It looks like a suitcase and it is heavy but I like using it so much better than my crank machine. The instructions are easy and clear. I love all things Tim Holtz!

This machine saved me so much time! I also have Big Shot and other various items to help me with my crafts. I cannot say enough about this machine. So durable, cuts with precision, very easy to use. I Love this item so much, that I also need another one for my classes that I teach for crafts. So Awesome! Also like the classic feel to it. Great Job!

This machine is awesome! I previously had a Cuttlebug which worked great for many many years so I was hesitant to upgrade to the Vagabond. I have a Cameo for cutting, and basically just use this type of tool for embossing. I chose this machine because it boasted handling up to four sheets of paper in one pass. With my cuttlebug, I COULD do two but it took excessive force to manually crank it through and I couldn't do more than a couple passes with two pieces before my arm got sore. This machine does three to four pieces of card stock at a time with just the push of a button making it extremely efficient and easy to use. Additionally, it's easy to set-up, the various platforms are clearly marked for different usages, and it's fairly quiet while in use.

I absolutely loved the Vagabond. It made die-cutting a dream, and I used it almost daily. My machine was not quite 13 months old - purchased from Amazon on June 20, 2021 when for no reason, it just died. I was cutting out several things, and went to insert another die, and nothing happened. Machine functioned, but die was not cut. Tried everything I could think of, but no go - it just died. So, a year and 2 weeks later, I have to buy another die cutting machine. Really is the pits - I seriously thought about buying another Vagabond, but just not going to take the chance of another one giving up the ghost just a year later.

My electric die cut machine broke and even though I have a hand crank die cut machine I really needed an electric machine to cut intricate dies. You can never go wrong with a Tim Holtz product. Although the machine is heavy (if you like to weight lift this is a good substitute!) it works beautifully and is VERY easy to use. There are 2 buttons to push and that is it.VERY happy with my machine.

I have been using this Vagabond 2 every day since receiving it and absolutely love it. If you are tired of cranking on machines that fly all over your table when you are die cutting be assured that this Vagabond won't travel. It is heavy duty and so quiet. Cutting small thin dies is a breeze and you don't have to send it through 2 or 3 times. Efficiently cuts even the ones with tiny little details. Haven't done embossing yet but know it will be impressive after watching Tim Holtz on YouTube. I spray a fine water mist on the paper then let it sit for a while til it's cool to the touch then run it through and the embossing that's created it deeper and more pronounced. Depends on the type of paper of course but Tim even did grunge board that turned out beautifully. Love Love Love this Vagabond 2. This is all my opinion of course but if you are curious to see what I am talking about Amazon has an amazing price on the Vagabond 2 and you will be amazed at how much easier die cutting will be. This would be great for people that have limited range of motion or weakness in their hands. I highly recommend this machine. Well, it is November of 2020 and the Vagabond 2 is still holding up real well after running hundreds of all different kinds of dies through it so, I still highly recommend it. Love my Vagabond 2!
