Box labelled 1/2 inch but 3/4" hog rings inside
These labelled 1/2" hogs rings would be perfectly good, except they are 3/4" . I ordered 2 boxes of 2500 hog rings 3/4" from 2 suppliers and 2 boxes of 1/2" hogs rings of 500 from 2 suppliers. This box stated 1/2" but product inside matches up to the other 2 suppliers 3/4". I have provided a photo and tape measure of different suppliers 1/2" individual rings as a sample of what I presume they should have been except joined together for use in a autofeeder. Also a 2nd photo of 3/4 rings that Weston matches up to vs the bag of 1/2" individuals from a different supplier. Amazon refunded me for the error so am adding a 2nd star. If it wasn't that we are using these with concrete sipp panels and needed this week the error would not have been so bad. As it is we will use the more laborious tiewire method.See tridipanel.com or covintec.com for concrete sipp panels.

Not quite as thick as I hoped / expected
I purchased these to use with some new leather seat covers I was installing. I knew that I would need to break them apart which wasn't a problem but they were actually quite a bit thinner than I expected. I ended up not using them for the install as I wanted something that was a little thicker and I knew would hold up. Overall these may be good for some applications but I wouldn't use them for upholstery.

Just like trying to place single staples into a staple gun ...
I ordered this to use in the Dewalt P7DW hog ring pliers, unfortunately the box these come in is soft and thin and allowed the rings to be broken apart, so instead of getting full 'sticks of rings' I got a box of rings that were mostly unusable in my pliers. Just like trying to place single staples into a staple gun it will jam and not complete the full closer process. So in order to use these I will need to buy a pair of ring pliers that are made for single ring application or I will more than likely just throw them away and never buy this brand again! Weston use a heavy duty box, up the price a few cents to cover the cost of better packaging and I will return as a customer but as of now I feel like I wasted my hard earned money!

Smaller gauge rings
Are there smaller gauge rings that fit the pliers which are not quite as thick? The ones we got are fine, but we'rfe trying to crimp sheep casing sausages? Any ideas?

used for my cat fence
If you are putting up a mesh fence or wire fence -- THIS IS A MUSTFWIW as a Cat Fence since we bought them both: we recommend Kittyfence.com over purrfectfence.comThe kittyfence product uses better thicker fence poles, deeper stronger sleeves, and we thought the overhang arms made better sense than the purrfectfenceGood Luck

Quite simple, a hog ring.
There isn't much to say because this is simply a package of hog rings. They are good quality hog rings for use when recovering car seats or couches.... They have many uses.
