optiplex gx280 build the psu fits.
Works great I had to take it apart to get it to fit in my custom case build.

Seemingly Reliable
After nearly a year of putting it in my dad's computer, I've had no reported issues with it.

A bit noisy and no modular cabling
It is no louder then a ps4 which is fine. I wish it Modular so I could remove certain cables but it's fine for the form factor needed for a ITX case

Good psu
Works well in Lenovo sff pc. The only catch is the fan doesn’t turn off when the pc is off (has to do with adapter and less with the PSU itself).

Lasted 3.5 years.
This lasted 3.5 years of 24/7 use, just outside the warranty period (3 years). It starting to cause frequent random shutdowns, the pc wouldn't stay up longer than an hour or two before crashing. Figured it was the PSU because nothing was getting written to the log file. Replaced the PSU and I'm back to running as normal. There aren't a lot of options in this form factor and power rating. If you decide to go this route, be cautious once you go outside the warranty period.

The only high-quality way to go above 300W for TFX!
UPDATE 03/29/2024: I've had this PSU for about 4 months now. Since writing my initial review, I did a full upgrade on my PC, going from a Core i7-4790 system to a Ryzen 7 7700 and 32GB DDR5, keeping the RTX 4060. I added a pic of the new system (same case) just to show that somehow, I was able to manage the cables a little better (I think). Since connecting this PSU to my NEW system, it has become louder. It is not unbearable, and nowhere near as loud as something like an old PS4, but it is still the loudest component in my system at almost ALL times unless I'm doing something that causes the other fans (CPU/GPU/Case fans etc) to ramp up high, such as gaming or video editing. I have no idea why. It never really gets far beyond "warm" to the touch, and its exhaust air feels only moderately above room temp. The only thing I can think of is that my old motherboard had only a 4-pin CPU power connector. My new motherboard has an 8-pin. Still happy with it but i'm not the first reviewer to mention noise either.I have an InWin CE685 case that came with its own 300W TFX power supply. This was perfectly adequate for my first 3 years of ownership, but upon upgrading to the low-profile RTX 4060, I was in need of a power supply with PCIe power connectors. TFX is a very uncommon form factor - I cannot imagine Silverstone selling a lot of these - but I'm extremely grateful they've made them regardless, and two minutes on the internet will show you that, for capacities over 300W, they're actually the ONLY option (that I've found, anyways). The unit itself is surprisingly (and reassuringly) heavy, the fan is basically never audible even after hours of high loads, has 80+ Gold certification, and it comes with an abundance of connectors. SIGNIFICANTLY more than I needed actually. I did my best to cable manage but in my pic you can see it's still quite a mess. That's probably the only bad thing to say about this PSU - for its price, I really wish they'd just make them modular, but that aside, for the few dozen other TFX users out there, I'd recommend this in a heartbeat (not that there's really any other options to recommend anyways :P).

Great upgrade if you need a larger TFX power supply
I have a stream lined computer case that originally had a 300 watt TFX PSU. I wanted to put in a better video card and would have been over the limit for the existing PSU. First, even finding an after market TFX PSU that is over 300 watts is a challenge. I looked at several sources for TFX PSUs and this one was one of the few that I found. After much consideration, I pulled the trigger and ordered this one.I have been running it for a few weeks now and am completely satisfied with the build quality and performance. What would I change: I would have preferred a PSU with the ability to unplug unused power cables. With the confined space of my thin case, I feel the air flow in the case would be improved if I didn't have all the extra cables taking up room. ( knocked the easy to install down a notch due to cable management issues.) Contributing to the installation issues are that the power cables are heavy duty and well protected, so it is a trade off. I will take properly sized and protected power cables over what was on the original PSU.I had not used Silver Stone Technologies PSUs with previous builds, but they are on my list for consideration for future builds.

The side tab is missing unsafe
I read the reviews before buying this and took a chance hoping I wouldn't be The unlucky One to get it without a tab on the side to click into the computer turns out I was unlucky but it's strange because the description doesn't show a tab but when you get the box it does show a tab they need to fix this power supply and deliver the same quality they do for the 500 model they have I have no idea why the 700 model is missing the side tabs it's unsafe I returned it I'll look back in a year or two to see if this issue has been fixed from the manufacture until then be warned
