Contraband Playing Cards

Me and my friend group all think the cards are awesome i personally really enjoy the way the high victorian set looks so ill be picking that up next i wont lie after shipping it came out to like 20 bucks but the cards are much cooler than the ones you can buy at the store if you can justify the price difference for yourself 100% coolest cards ive ever owned

I had read a review where someone said the Contraband card box looked "ornate" but the cards looked light and were mostly "black and white". I personally feel the cards themselves are absolutely gorgeous. The colors are muted to a degree, but I think that was the point. If you're looking for bright, eye-popping color, than this deck is not for you. The product photos give more than a pretty good idea of what you're getting with your purchase. I think the intricate detail of the cards is really the selling point here. The detail on each suit, especially when speaking of the royal court, is extraordinary. I use these cards mainly for card tricks, but if you're more of a card player, I almost guarantee your friends will be really impressed as these just don't have that generic look to them. Strongly recommend for card lovers of all types. Salute to Theory 11.

Perfect for my 13 year old son!

So I Ordered these card being a magicianand when I opened them they had a big stain across one side of them and a smaller stain on the other side (I was not super happy) knowing that these would not be acceptable for performing and playing I went to return them and was very happy to see that they would replace the item as well as give free first-day shipping. I love the back design, the box and I love the face cards. Can't wait to get the replacement tomorrow. To sum it up The cards are great as well as Amazon return policy. If you are looking to add to your card collection, start one or just have a cool looking deck I suggest these!!!

They are very slick when arriving and wear down over time as expected but the case will break easily and you will have to store them in a bag or something else after casual use.

This deck is why people buy custom decks of cards. Every single card in the box is customized to match the theme. The 2s to court are all treated with such detail. This is not a Bicycle court, but it doesn't feel forced. Beautiful work on all FOUR customized Aces (as opposed to the typical customized Ace of Spades only).Buy this deck.

Great cards and a really beautiful design. The only unfortunate part was that I got these a few days ago and removing the seal damaged part of the foil. I also received the item and immediately started to see the foil peeling a the edges of the box especially around the opening. It’s a piece of art but the damage detracts from the craftsmanship. I will say that I bought the NPH cards as well and they shipped completely fine.Update: awesome customer service they sent me a new pack in a day super Satisfied with this purchase.

These are great cards! Beautiful artwork, good feel in the hands. I didn’t buy them to do card tricks, though, just as a playing deck for at home that has some extra pizazz! I’ve had several compliments from friends who have played with us already!
