I originally picked this up with my kiddo in mind, but I’ve ended up using it just as much myself, haha! I’m usually not a big fan of sunscreens in general because I often find them greasy or overly fragrant, but this really surprised me. When I first used it, I actually thought it wasn’t dispensing properly because it was so dry and subtle, but it went on evenly and absorbed quickly with almost no scent, no sticky residue, and barely any rubbing needed. Despite how light it feels on the skin, it protected both of us perfectly during a few hours at the beach, even in the water, no sunburns at all, which is a great test. I also really like the locking top, you just twist it to lock, which gives peace of mind when tossing it in a beach bag or backpack. It’s compact, portable, and just plain works well. I’m definitely grabbing another bottle next time. Would recommend, parent and kiddo approved!

Spent the whole day in a Florida theme park in hot, humid weather, and I didn't burn ( I applied as needed). Easy to spray on, but you will have to make sure you get it off in the shower because it sticks! Waterproof for sure. I have super sensitive skin and am always hesitant to try new products, and a lot of the ones I use are very expensive. I found this to be a reasonable alternative that honestly works.

I bought this a little over a month ago and only just tried to use it for the first time this week. First application came out thick, patchy and white, but the bottle refused to work after the 1 use. The sunscreen won’t come out anymore even after cleaning the nozzle and trying to wiggle the top to readjust. Full bottle now useless and non-returnable because of the time frame. We had to buy sunscreen at the resort as the packaging failed us. It could be sunscreen but I don’t really know. I’ve never had a sunscreen spray do that before, so I’m not sure if maybe the formula was too thick for the nozzle and clogged inside. Won’t be buying in this form again.

This sunscreen is a new favorite in our house! It goes on smoothly without feeling greasy or heavy, and best of all—it actually works. We spent hours outside and no one got sunburned. It’s gentle enough for my toddler’s sensitive skin and doesn’t cause any breakouts for me either. I also love that it doesn’t have that overwhelming “sunscreen smell” some brands do. Absorbs quickly and leaves little to no white cast. Definitely keeping this stocked for the rest of the summer!

I’m a big fan of of spray sunscreens but my favorite- NoAd - left the market years ago. The other brands I’ve tried tend to either be oily feeling with a long lasting residue or they show a white cast to the skin from the mineral sunscreen. This one goes on great and does neither. The spray goes on well, absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel oily or sticky. I also don’t detect any white residue such as you get from mineral sunscreen screams and lotions. If it wasn’t for the fairly high price, this would be perfect.Update 9/20/24 I took off one star for this issue. While I don’t intentionally get sunscreen in my eyes it does happen. With this product I find it irritates my eyes more than most and the problem can occur hours after application. For example, I put the sunscreen on my face almost 12 hours ago. I just put in eye drops and as I was wiping away the overflow I accidentally rubbed some of the residue sunscreen (which I can still feel on my face) into my eyes. It stung and impaired my vision for several minutes. This has happened several times and only occurs on those days when I have applied this sunscreen. My regular face care products from companies such as Aveeno and CereVe don’t cause the same problem.

My daughter is very sensitive skin (sees a dermotologist) and while this wasn’t on the list of very expensive sunscreens that were recommended a friend suggested it and it’s much easier to find on sale, and it dosnt make her break out! They even make a face stick that is sold separately.

Love Blue Lizard, but doesn’t seem to have perfected the spray product. It seems to spray more mist than product, even after shaking as directed. Holding it upside down helps. Maintaining good quality maybe impacts the ability to spray?

The product itself is absolutely worth every penny. it's been a full month--no breakouts, rashes, nothing. the coverage is incredible and it's all natural ingredients visibly benefit my skin. great customer service as well!!
