Better than any over the counter medication It's a little more expensive but if you don't have to continue Buying it constantly.Then you're actually saving money.

I felt I needed to add this review for anyone that has bought this or that it may not be working for.I was having issues with multiple fissures inside and out of my anal region that were very painful. I have been working out regularly for a very long time and was eating lots of protein, which caused my stools to get harder and harder until it was very painful to have a movement. Every time I would need to go I was scared of the pain that I had to endure and Ive never experienced that in my life, it was TERRIBLE. I tried to use the ointment alone and at first it seemed to not work...BUT...I opted for a different approach after some research.For this to work YOU MUST ADJUST YOUR DIET and combine that with fiber supplements and stool softeners. I found that 2 fiber pills and 2 stool softeners (taken with food) every day made my movements very soft and after a movement I would wash or use a wet wipe to clean the area very well, THEN apply the ointment to the inside of the rectum. Within a week my lower region was feeling almost completely healed. After 3 weeks I'm feeling like a new person. Its such a relief to not have to worry about it anymore. I will say again, THIS PROBABLY WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU UNLESS YOU ADJUST YOUR DIET AND TAKE SUPPLEMENTS IN TANDEM WITH THE OINTMENT. If you aren't willing to do that, don't expect positive results. You're having issues with fissures because your diet is terrible. Almost all problems humans have can be traced back to the things we eat. I cannot stress that enough. If you want your ass to stop hurting, you're going to have to make sacrifices and stop eating some of the garbage you you eat. The first thing any doctor will ask you if you visit them about fissures is "what are you eating"I hope people see this and it helps them. I believe this helped speed up my recovery, but it did not stop the pain & burning as advertised.

I purchase this couple times a year. Love this product, love the consistancy, and any amount of ointment helps me tremendously. Numbs the area pretty great. Depending on the severity of the "issue" wears out differently. Worse case for me, lasts 2 hours, best case but still needed lasts me a good 6 hours.

Only slightly better than a "lesser known, over the counter" brand. Did not solve the constant issue with hemorrhoids

It's unbelievable, a product that is so expensive, doesn't come with an ointment applicator that attaches to the tube. They include a small bag of finger condoms! Really? I'm supposed to put a fat finger up a very sore area instead of a small applicator? I should return, but I don't wanna go through the hassle. Doesn't make sense, because I bought the ointment by itself in the past and it came with an applicator. The spray seems OK, but gimmicky. It gets everywhere, all over your clothes, etc. Save your money, go spend $5 for an equal or better product at a local store.

This is an absolutely fantastic product! Having suffered from fissures and internal hemorrhoids, I tried the ones in the supermarkets near me. They all burned like hell and I'm pretty sure they made it worse. Tip for anyone else out there, never buy anything with any kind of alcohol, or anything ending in -ol or non vegetable glycerin. It's also free of all the common irritants that you seem to find in everything nowadays.This is the only product that has worked for me, the lidocaine and hydrocortisone is very effective at relaxing the muscles, and all the naturally sourced oils help to keep the area moisturized, healing and preventing further fissures. My hemorrhoids have also gown down a bit, not completely but enough that I forget I even had them. Since I had them for almost 10 years, I don't expect them to dissappear anytime soon though.Regardless, this is one of the few times the phrase "you get what you pay for" can be said in a positive light. Don't waste your money on cheap stuff, not for your tushie!Do keep in mind though, that it should not be kept in warm places or warmed up prior to use, it will cause the oils to separate, as seen in the photo. After I left it sitting in hot water, the oil separated permanently, so only let your body warm it up as you apply it.(It's also the perfect thing to use when you want to do some, uh, "stretches" 😉).
