Bright, well made. Does NOT include batteries.
My first Olight, I tend to prefer Streamlight but I'm not disappointed in this. The light was shipped in a clear plastic retail box with all necessary information printed on it. Inside the box is the light itself with reversible pocket clip, wrist lanyard (which is nice, but not needed in my application), battery magazine that holds two CR123 batteries in the light (removing the plastic magazine allows the use of 18650 rechargeable cells, not included), two replacement O-rings and the users manual. Also included with this particular package is the rail mount for the flashlight and an Olight branded pressure switch. The pressure switch itself is about 2 inches long, attached to a cord just over 6 inches long. The cord ends at the female cap for the rear of the light. Pressure switch works well and feels like a quality piece. There are a few pieces of 3m stick'um for mounting the switch, but I'd recommend buying a purpose made bit to hold the switch. The mount, while robust and cleverly designed was a no go for my use. It's too bulky to fit well on the top or bottom rail of my Kel Tec RDB. I used a 1 inch scope ring instead. Having said that, the light is smaller in diameter than 1 inch, but a few wraps of electrical tape fixed that. The light itself is nicely made and boy is it bright. It has 5 total modes, low, medium, high, turbo and moonlight. You can also activate a strobe feature. The packaging labels them as modes 1-5 with specs as follows. Mode 1 (turbo); 1000 lumens for 5+55 minutes which translates to 5 minutes of insanely bright 1000 lumens then after the 5 it drops to 550 lumens for an additional 55 minutes. Confused? Layman's terms, bright as the sun for 5 minutes, then just really bright for another 55. Mode 2 (high) is 350 lumens for 2 hours. Mode 3 (mid) is 60 lumens for 12 hours. Mode 4 (low) is 10 lumens for 60 hours. Mode 5 (moonlight) is 0.5 lumens for 360 hours. Finally strobe is 10hz (?) at 1000 lumens. Modes 1-4 are accessed through the small button on the head of the light. Moonlight is activated by holding the side switch then turning the light on. Strobe is activated by either "quickly half pressing the tailcap three times while light is off OR by pressing and holding the side switch for 1 second while the light is off. This review has gone on long enough so I'll close with just a couple more sentences. The light has a 5 year warranty, which is nice. I think it'll be a good weapon light, especially considering the cost.

Great light, mediocre accessories
First off, the flashlight is fantastic. Sturdy and light, it more than makes up for its average size, as far as tac-lights go. The beam is concentrated, powerful and clean, with a fantastic "memory" to recall what setting you prefer. The pressure switch is fantastic and is quite flexible. I mount my light far forward and activate the tailcap with my thumb, so I don't actually use it.My only complaint is a rather specific one- the mount. Even on a picatinny rail, the offset is pretty darn wide to the point of being in the way. If you're using MLOK or Keymod (my Sig Sauer MCX has been cursed with the latter), it sits WAAAAAY off to the side.Recommendation: Forget the pressure switch, forget the mount. Just save some money- buy the light by itself, buy a lower-profile mount and go from there. add some adhesive strip if it doesn't fit snugly.

Tragic dissappointment
I got this light for my birthday. I looked at a thousand YouTube videos of these being Frozen in blocks of ice and dropped off of bridges onto rocks. Very very impressive, right? So I got one. I chose this particular one for the weapon mount option. I love having options. I don't work as a night watchman, so my use of this light has not been extreme by any measure. I have had it almost 3 months and I dropped it when I was walking the dog, from 3 feet, onto soft ground and poof!! No more light. There isn't even a scratch on this thing and the led will not light!! WTF man?!?! I am extremely disappointed in this thing. I wanted a "forever" flashlight that I could depend on in any circumstance. This did not survive a simple 2 foot drop onto soft dry ground. I am giving 3 stars because I haven't experienced the sellers customer service yet and I want to be fair. I will update this review accordingly afterwards and let you know what to expect from that side of things as well. Plus I hardly ever read the 1 star reviews. I will say that based on my personal experience with this light, it is a -1*

Brightest smallest light for the money
This little light only has one downfall and that is run time on its higher settings. Other than that this little thing puts out more light then my cars headlights and is light and durable as well. i have been running it on a 300 aac ar15 and a 556 ar15 in hunting and three gun competition and it just keeps on running strong! Don't waste your money on those surefire high end lights when this one does it all for a fraction of the price.

Pretty good for EDC - will probably end up on shotgun
I'm bouncing back and forth between this light and another as to which one is going to be my EDC light, and which one ends up on my shotgun. I love the slim form to this, it hides in a pocket quite nicely. The rear button is easy to engage, and I like the "moonlight" option - used it this morning (like many mornings) when getting ready for work so as to not wake up my wife. Here is why I took off a star - and I'm being a bit picky. I wish there was an option for immediate full power, and I don't mean the double half press. If I'm in an emergency situation, and I want full brightness in order to disable or distract someone, I can't be messing around with trying to press a button half way down - same goes for the strobe. The strobe feature doesn't do anything for me, but if I was the kind of person who wanted/needed to use it, 3 half presses while under duress is difficult. If the manufacturer is reading this, here is what I'd love to see. Side button turns the light on, and repeated presses cycles through light settings. Rear button single full or half press - full power. Double click (full on/off cycle) turns strobe on for at least half a second before it can be turned off (prevents a triple click turning the strobe on and then off by accident). Those changes would make this the perfect EDC light in my opinion.
