Very Comfortable Weight Belt
This was purchased to use for weight bearing to improve bone density. This model was chosen based on other consumers' reviews. I find it very comfortable and easily adjustable as to waist size and weights' distribution options. The 1/4 pound weights are cylindrical and rounded on both ends to more easily slip in and out of the pockets. Some pockets hold two weights. The weights in their pockets are secured by an interior envelope flap secured at the bottom (inside) with hook and loop. There are no instructions that come with this product, but it is pretty intuitive. Wearing this weight belt is comfortable enough for doing house and yard/garden chores and going for walks or for joggers - which I am not. The weights rest on the hips and not the stomach or the spine. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it for both quality of construction, wear-ability and function.

Great product! Better than I imagined.
Perfect belt. Easy to put on and off. Sturdy, well made, comfortable. I bought to use with Db method squat machine($20 cheaper than theirs)-what surprised me was how the belt although heavy added a gentle comfort, support for my back. It was not a strain. I would compare it to a weighted blanket just for your back. Added resistance for my squats and can be turned around on stomach for Russian twist.

Good belt but should be cheaper.
I've never used a weight belt before but I have used several weight vests before and this one has been better than both both in construction quality and comfort. The fabric type and padding are similar to most other vests and belts like it, the big difference with this belt versus those other ones is the quality of the stitching. The stitching is not only higher quality its done with a heavier thread. Out of the box there were no straggling threads or anything, it looked clean and neat like you normally see on higher end belts and vests. Its also stayed that way after several weeks use which is a good sign in my experience, usually the crappier stuff starts to stretch and come loose in that time frame. The 2 cheap vests I've bought before fell apart in less than a year and I never put more than 10 lbs in them. The other thing that really stood out to me is quality of the velcro and the nylon loops. You can tell just by picking up the belt and putting it on that it won't be falling apart any time soon. There is absolutely no give or stretching once the belt is on. It stays put when I run and I usually run for around an hour to 40 minutes. It also stays comfortable unlike the vests I've used. Those vests would usually start to hurt my back after a while but with the belt that isn't an issue at all.The weights themselves are coating with vynil or powder coating, which is good. The cheaper vests and belts tend to just paint them, which wears off fast and due to sweat they become encrusted with rust within a few months or weeks.FYI the "reflective strip" is the only thing about this product is a joke. It has almost no visibility at all since it tends to fold up on you when running and doesn't really offer much in the way of reflectivity even when not rolled up.So far I only have around 6 lbs of weight in the belt so far, started with 3 lbs, and it is plenty for a long walk or run! Always start slow when using weight vests or belts, you'd be surprised how much a little extra weight will whoop your butt in the beginning. But keep at it and it gets easier fast.Besides the strip the only other thing I'd change about the belt is the price. IMO it should've been $10-15 cheaper, there just isn't much to it at all. Otherwise its a solid belt.

Just What I Was Looking For
I work out almost every morning with the Leslie Sansone walk aerobic programs. I don't like exercising for more than 45 minutes, and I wanted to boost my workouts with a weighted belt so I'd get more bang for my buck--instead of choosing one-hour videos. I tried a two-pounder, which was too light to be effective, and I then tried a five-pounder, which was pretty good, but not challenging enough. The ten-pound belt is perfect for me. I'm a senior citizen who weighs around 117 pounds, and ten pounds added to my waist while exercising makes a big difference--because it's quite a relief when you remove it after the workout is over, so you know its heft has enhanced that workout. The belt is well made and can be modified very easily if you want to decrease/increase the poundage. The area of the belt that touches your body is smooth nylon and very well quilted for comfort, and the Velcro closure is strong and reliable. Now the hardest part of my exercise regimen is lifting the belt from its shelf and holding it in the right position as I wrap it around my body. I have arthritis and I'm not as agile as I used to be, but I've figured out the right maneuvers to deal with the problem. At first I thought the price was a bit steep, but the belt has proved to be worth every penny!

Bulky for walking
I find this weight belt rather bulky for walking. My arms are constantly banging into it and rubbing against it. You need to wear it around your waist way up high in order to get some clearance for your arms to move naturally. When looking at ads for other weight belts they all look bulky so I am not sure how a manufacturer of a weight belt would solve this problem. I am surprised other reviewers find this belt so comfortable. Photos for the product show it worn low around the hips but I do not think this would be possible if you plan to walk with it. Somewhat better when worn up high around the waist however still not all that comfortable. Also since I am a small person there is a lot of extra strap hanging off the end, I guess I could cut it but don't want to deface the belt. There is no way I can see to safely tuck the end of the belt somewhere out-of-the-way.

Comodo
Cómodo, se puede añadir las barras de peso muy fácilmente. No viene con instructivo pero es aconsejable balancear el peso de adelante con el de atrás.
