This kit stopped my Home Depot Husky Air Compressor from Leaking Air. Since I don't use this compressor every day, I shut it off between uses. When it was new, it would hold the tank pressure with very little leakage. However, it started leaking so badly that every time I would want to use it, the tank would be empty. So, I would have to turn it on and wait for it to pressurize the tank before I could use it. Also, the pressure regulator knob became extremely hard to turn when I would want to set the output pressure over 100 lbs.When I checked my manual I realized that Husky only sold a complete regulator assembly. I was reasonably sure that all my regulator needed was a few worn parts replaced, so I looked on Amazon and found this kit. All of the parts in the kit fit perfectly. The only part that I didn't use was the large "O" ring. It is not needed for this regulator. Also, unlike some reviewers reported, I received plenty of grease in a tube to lubricate the regulator parts.This kit fixed the leaking & hard to turn pressure regulator knob problems. The compressor again works like new. It saved me quite a bit of money & time replacing the entire regulator assembly.I would highly recommend trying this repair kit before purchasing a new regulator.

DeWalt D55155 owners, See the reviews. The black disk will not regulate due to it's to thick. It will be full pressure all the time. It will work if you very carefully swap the o-ring from the black disk to the original thinner white disk. Fixed mine a free the swap. I didn't use the other parts as all I needed was the 10.00 o-ring.

Used this to repair a regulator on a Dewalt compressor. After assembling, the regulator wouldn't work. The large piston (black piece with O-ring) was a tight fit in the housing. I had to meticulously file the outer diameter to get it to fit and slide in the housing. It still wasn't perfect and the regulator is a little slow to respond and recover - but it seems to be working better as I use the compressor.
