Superb pair of boxing gloves at this price
I have been boxing pretty regularly since 1999. I tend to train in gloves at the high end of the price spectrum. No doubt I shouldn't name the manufacturers, but by way of a hint I currently have four pairs that were made in Japan and three pairs that were made in Mexico! Bought these Everlast gloves (12 oz) as was going to Spain for a month and didn't want to be seen leaving the gym there in 'mega' gloves... Well, these Everlast proved to be really exceptional. Boxed many many rounds on the heavy bag, with considerable success. For the current price of £60 or so, they are a real bargain and offer tremendous quality.

Good Quality
My Son, who teaches boxing, is impressed with the quality for the price.

Not great for those with larger hands
I bought some of these from Sports Direct because they were well priced and actually leather, unlike several others in this price range.First impressions were good, they looked like a quality product, and definitely smell like proper leather. Unfortunately that's where the praise ends. The stitching is starting to come undone after only 5 one hour training sessions. Not something I'd expect at any price point to be fair. I know these are at the lower end but still, they should last more than 5 hours without starting to fall apart.Another note is that with larger hands, they become hideously uncomfortable after about 15 minutes. They just don't seem to be wide enough, pushing my thumb further towards the middle of my hand and causing pain in the part of my hand beneath the thumb but above the wrist as it gets squashed towards the centre of the palm. This is without wraps on, as with the wraps it is even worse.Such a let down after the initial great impression. After my first go with them the guys at the gym said they'll bed in more as time goes on but I don't think they are going to get any better now.

Old school excellence!
I wanted old school style boxing gloves and these do not disappoint! They are weighted which helps tone the arms more and not too bulky. The Velcro makes it easy to get off and on, old school style without the lace up! All around love my Everlast gloves!

Cool!
I'm 6 foot 2, and they fit perfectly with and without wraps; I bought 14oz gloves, and these 1910's look fantastic.

Great fitting and likely durable gloves!
I especially appreciate the wide wrist straps! After a month or so of use 2 times per week (Parkinson’s boxing-hitting the heavy bag), no signs of wear so far. Excellent ventilation in the palm areas. I am still very early in this Parkinson’s thing, so I can still hit the bag fairly hard for my weight and limited experience with boxing (this is my first experience). My only other glove experience is with ProForce gloves. The fit is nearly identical and I can feel significant difference in padding.
