I stuck it to the side of my car to hold the lug nuts as I was changing tire.
Every garage needs a high quality magnetic bowl. The last thing you want is to lose a small piece or screw on your project. Is this a high quality bowl --- Yes it is.I have had this bowl for a while and it is my new go to bowl. Just the other day I was working on a bike when my youngest came in and knocked the bowl off the table. As I picked it up I could tell every single bolt nut and even washers were still firmly in the bowl.Because it is magnetic you can stick the bowl where you need it. Yes that is right. I stuck it to the side of my car to hold the lug nuts as I was changing tire. Most magnetic bowls could only dream of being that strong.Unlike most other magnetic bowls it is not shiny metal but painted in Park Tools blue. This is nice when working out in the sun as it does not blind you when you look at.If you know anyone who likes to work on stuff, this is a great gift idea. I know, I sure would love to have a few more.

Extremely Handy!
I was using an empty grease tub I cleaned to hold the small parts for the bike I was working on. I saw this bowl and thought that it would probably help even more since it is magnetic. It fits perfectly on the flat anvil part of my vise, and it doesn't move from there because it's magnetic! It's nice and out of the way, and the small parts don't get knock around or lost because of it. :)

Strong magnet, good finish, what can I say, it's a Park Tool!
As with most all Park Tools, the fit and finish of this product is excellent. The magnet is very strong ensuring that you will not knock it over. If you happen to set on a non-ferrous surface and knock it off, you can be confident that they nuts and bolts will stay in the bowl. I even throw my pocket multi-tool in there to hold it. With good enough aim, and a soft touch, I could throw some hardware into the bowl from a few yards away and have it stick. The bottom has a nice rubber finish so it will not marr or scratch the surface you put it on.Keep this thing away from your phone since the magnet is so strong. It will hold nuts and bolts in there upside down or on the refrigerator if you wanted. Highly recommended to any bike, car, or blue color enthusiast.

The Best
Bought this Park Tool magnetic bowl (I have one) for my grandson who is just getting into bicycle maintenance.Yes, the Park Tool version is more expensive, but the best you can buy.

Excellent for Small parts
This magnetic bowl works perfectly to keep all those small nuts, bolts and washers from rolling off while you are working on your bike. Just remember though if its not metal it won't engage the magnet...learned this the hard way when a piece I thought was metal was not and I accidentily dumped the bowl...all the metal parts stayed in place but the others went everywhere. My fault not the bowls. I keep it right on top of my workbench and eaisly drop pieces in it as I work.

Sold by Park; made in China
Another Park product that is disappointingly not made in the US, though the quality seems decent enough. It's a a painted metal bowl with a donut shaped magnet attached to the bottom covered by a rubber shroud. Because of the magnet's shape, any metal objects placed in the bowl are drawn towards the perimeter and held very securely. You can flip the bowl over and give it a good shake, and the contents will stay put. It probably won't take long for the paint to scuff and chip, but the only way to keep your shop tools looking pristine is to not use them.

It's Blue
It works. It's pretty generic, save for color and logo. This one sits stuck to the top of an industrial sewing machine, where it is used to collect pins. Somehow I don't think all the craft sewers are going to flocking to this review, given that it's sold by a bike tool manufacturer, but there you go ...As far bike work goes, it's sort of medium-sized. Good for small parts and fasteners. Tools, not so much.5 stars for having a decent magnet and color!

Well made!
Nice size and color. Hefty for it's size. Appears well made and has a strong magnet.
