Great gift for college students!
As a college student, I often stay up working at my laptop at odd hours, and my loud clicking noises don't go well with my dorm roommate trying to sleep. Now I can work fervently--with light taps on my desk--without worrying about waking up my roommate. Thank you ODiN for saving my relationship with my roommate! This mouse will take some getting used to. I often still find myself reaching for my trackpad, but your joints will thank you!

Lovingit! A smart little device.
Only got the device yesterday and I am loving it! My mac got a bit confused when I plugged it in but it it is working well. I may need to re-think the positioning on the desk to make it easier. I was pleasantly surprised when a colleague put printout on my desk where the projection was and it still worked.

A Great Idea that Simply Doesn't Work
Gee I like technology...I'm an early adopter and I'm usually not too difficult to please.I really like the idea of this product and really wanted it to work well.Alas - the technology's simply not there yet.Imagine activating your mousepad by using a broken popsicle stick held between your teeth......while having an epileptic fit. That should give you some idea of just how frequently what's happening on the screen correlates with what the user is doing with their finger. If I was the sort of fellow who returned things I'd surely ask for my money back on this one
