Not "One Size Fits All"
Task: Mount new license plates on 2020 Toyota Sienna.Like: Good quality stainless steel.Outcome, rear plate: Mounted easily.Outcome, front plate: Screw too long. Screw pushed against vehicle's grill and forced the plate-holding frame forward at its top. Had to cut about 5/16" off of screw to eliminate interference. Thread remained fully engaged in plate holder. Thus, plate retention was not compromised.Note that if you need to shorten these screws, retaining the screw while cutting can be difficult. Also, the screws' material is relatively hard. Finally, the act of cutting will damage the newly-leading threads. You will need either an appropriate die or a triangular file to dress the thread before using the abbreviated screw. Of course one could always determine the appropriate thread pitch (sorry... I don't know it) and acquire shorter, stainless steel, pan head (or binder head) screws at a good hardware store (bring one of these screws as a sample for head, length, and pitch comparison purposes).
