Ambient WeatherWS-7078 Smart Weather Station w/WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts

For reference, I used an Acurite 5 in 1 for several years prior to getting this one from Ambient Weather. This AW station is soooo much better in literally every possible way. Accuracy is far superior, build quality is superior, mounting hardware is fantastic and so easy to set up on a mounting pole, the console display is easy to read and provides all the info you would need. The AW unit is also so much easier to connect to WiFi to utilize weather underground uploading. I am so pleased with this unit and thank AW for making this one more affordable for weather nerds like myself than their popular $170 model. This model runs from 3 AA batteries on the sensor unit which I like (not solar like their more expensive model), while the console plugs into AC. I had the whole thing unboxed, mounted and connected to weather underground in less than an hour.I would never buy another Acurite unit if this model is available. It is superior to Accurite in every way honestly. My Acurite was broken immediately (wind vane) out of box and the company did nothing to help and it was always inaccurate on temperature due to inherent design flaw, although they'll sell you another $35 part to fix their flaw. Anyway, I love having this AW unit and so far it's working just right. As a wx geek, I just love all the data it provides, including UV/solar rating, which I never got on the Acurite. Work great. Having a hard time to set it up on the internet

I was looking for a mid priced full function station, and, after trying to buy a few Acurite models, and being disappointed each time, I decided to try this model, knowing I have had good experiences in the past with Ambient Stuff.This was no different, all the features I was looking for, super easy setup, easy to report to weather underground,and PWS, and very good wireless range.It comes with a 12 inch pole/mounting stand, and, for me, this unit was going to be placed on my back wrought iron fence, so a few cable ties, and, its on like cement!We'll see when the death heat of a Arizona summer has its way with it, but, so far, pretty impressed with the ease of setup/use/configuration and everything else.Definately give this one a shot if you are looking for a nice station in this price range

These are easy to set up, they work as described and I can see multiple weather stations from my phone. Much more accurate, as one would expect, then the weather app online. No one sends me stuff to review, I'm not on any social media platforms and I'm not and never will be an influencer.

Nice weather station. I don’t have a way of determining how accurate it may be but it nice to have a good idea of local weather and forecast. The Wi-Fi took about 15-20 minutes to figure out but I’m also not that technical, so that’s probably not too bad. Clear display, can see from across the room and from all angles. I added a second outdoor sensor in patio shaded area which connected easily in minutes.The indoor sensor is built in to the display, temp is very accurate so I would assume all other sensors have similar accuracy. Neighbors can log into this station ( if I program it that way) and can see only the readings from the main weather station. Very good pleased.
