L'OCCITANE Shea Ultra Light Body Cream

This moisturizer feels luxurious. It is easily applied.and leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft. There’s a delicate scent, which makes it easy to wear to work (health care).Many years ago a friend had gifted me a L’Occitane lotion, and I was so happy with the product that I started buying it again and again! The cost can be on the higher side, but I rather buy something which has a quality feel rather than a sub par product. If you want to feel pampered and love your skin, this moisturizer will do the trick ☺️

I have used this body cream on my face, neck, and body for many years. I have very dry skin. The $45 jar lasts me about 5 months. Pretty good deal for the best cream I've ever used. I am 75 now, and while I am wrinkling, this cream smooths out my skin and hydrates it like no other. This is worth the splurge. It is a heavy, quality lotion that absorbs well into the skin. The smell is a bit strong at first but that wears off, and you’re left with smooth, noticeably moisturized skin. My skin has a sheen to it when I use it which was an unexpected bonus.I’ve seen a definite improvement in my skin after using this consistently, and it’s become my go to. The only thing I would change is the amount for the price, but that’s luxury skincare for you!

So this is good quality Shea butter. It is really thick like a paste that melts into your skin as you apply, so a little goes a long way. I would say this is more for scaly spot treatments rather than routine skin care application. If you’re looking for face cream, I would suggest the 25% Shea butter Ultra Riche Cream (same brand) that has a pleasant smell, texture, & works amazing. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because I paid $50 for this tub & the container came dented.. it shouldn’t be that expensive if the container is going to arrive like it went through the cream apocalypse.

I always buy this body cream for my mother in law. It's thick, rich, and feels ultra nourishing on the skin!

Light scent is lovely, subtle and can be used even with perfume wearing individuals (which I am). Lotion is like a cream so thicker than you might expect however it absorbs easily and is my go to.

Great on sunburn. Heals quickly without much peeling. We use it ever year.
