How is this blade in cutting fleece fabric (2 layers) for tie blankets?

Cuts very well thru 2 layers. Be sure and wipe blade off regularly as fuzz can bog it down.

Olfa cutters are powered by your hand pressure on the fabric (or other surface) you wish to cut. Slide the cutter protector back with your thumb and align the cutter on the line you wish to cut, then put pressure down and cut. Usually people align the line to be cut with an acrylic ruler or hard edge to keep the cutter going in a precise straight line while keeping all your fingers away from the cutter edge itself--the cutter is extremely sharp and can seriously injure fingers. Best rotary cutter

I LOVE THIS ROTARY CUTTER.I have used several other brands of rotary cutters and this one fits me the best.Large handle to grip for cutting fabrics. I have been able to slice 8 layers of quilting fabric at the same time, slowly of course.I love that the rotary blade is protected by its locking mechanism when you slide it closed. It sits right inside its case.The only down side to this rotary cutter is that I have a tendency to grab the knob that slides the cutter open or close, as it sits at the handle.I feel very comfortable using this rotary cutter. It is easy to replace the blade, just be careful.I recommend this rotary cutter.

Good cutter

This is a great rotary cutter for thicker layers. At first I had a little trouble veering to the right, away from my ruler, but that was most likely my fault. I especially like the ease of covering or uncovering the blade. It cuts great on three layers or twice folded fabrics. I think you'll appreciate it.

Absolute work horse

Second Olfa cutter I've owned (first one was stolen in a move) and hopefully the last. Thing is a beast, very easy and comfortable to use on leather.

Really Sharp!! A bit of a learning curve.

Took me a while to figure out how to use this tool properly. I found a few YouTube videos that helped me cut straight lines and gentle curves. Incredibly sharp; cuts through almost any soft material up to 1/16”. If you’re not careful, this will walk right up on beveled, plastic straight edges. I found 1/8” thick, no-bevel straight edges work best. I also had better results using a self-healing mat.
