Excellent Non Stick Pan
This is a higher quality saute and fry pan. This pan features more surface than a 10 inch pan. If treated with respect This pan will last many years and keep the non stick surface. Dont use sharp tools, Dont overheat, Keep light oiled while cooking, etc. I use on an induction cooktop and it heats up quickly. Love it. Good value.

Non-stick failed immediately-but then! Returned to say it's an excellent non-stick pan
This pan looks great. Very impressive finish on the non-stick surface. Couldn't wait to make my eggs and hash in it. Both stuck to the pan! I washed it out, soaked and scraped the surface clean with silicone spatula and tried again. I added butter for the eggs and a little oil under the hash. The hash still stuck, the eggs only partially stuck. I wouldn't recommend this pan. I'm off to Homegoods for another $10 non-stick that will last about 3 years. FOLLOW-UP I subsequently tried to use this pan several more times, since it was the only "non-stick" I had. I washed this pan in the dishwasher 4 or 5 times, and voila! It's turned beautifully non-stick! See the picture. No sticking and cleans easily. I now highly recommend this pan. I won't try to explain why it took so many washings to reveal its non-stick attribute. I apologize for rushing to judgment.

Absolute garbage. Do not buy if you want a non-stick pan that lasts.
This pan is garbage and OXO/The Cookware Company customer service is awful. I purchased this six weeks ago. It has been used about 15 times and worked perfectly for about 10 uses. I have only cooked ground beef and chicken thighs in the pan. About 10 uses in parts of the pan became non stick and it just got worse until the whole pan is worse than a dry stainless pan.I contacted OXO customer service and after a few days they told me to contact The Cookware Company for warranty. After a number of back and forth emails with The Cookware Company where they asked for duplicate info multiple times and requested pictures of the pan their response was to send me cleaning instructions. I told them that I cleaned it multiple times with the same result and then they told me they would not offer any warranty. I have been a fan of many OXO products, but I will never buy anything with their branding on it again. This is the worst non-stick pan I have ever used and the customer service was abysmal. I went back to the tried and true Tramontina. I thought I was getting an upgrade at twice the price from OXO. What I got was a piece of crap shaped like a skillet.

I am a convert.
Bought this little guy as a budget way to try out the new nonstick. We have stainless steel and cast iron pans that I like, and are good for most things, but my daughter has decided she like fried eggs and I apparently forgot how to cook them without leaving half of it stuck to the pan or using so much oil it’s kinda gross. This pan has made Fried Egg Master not just a lie I tell myself to sleep at night but a title I can back up most of the time, even to my quite skeptical family.I use just the tiniest spray of oil and things work great. The metal is thick enough that it heats evenly so you don’t need to keep messing with the pans position to get consistent results.Only had it for a few weeks so I can’t speak to longevity. Have reminded the family several times that it is not to see metal utensils or the dishwasher. The good thing is it is so nonstick you can just wipe it out and rinse it like cast iron so they will have no excuse when they eventually destroy the coating just as they have destroyed every other attempt I have made to reduce friction in their lives.I am now in the awkward position of knowing there are better pans like this out there and owning pans which will never wear out and give me an excuse for replacement.Pro tip: you will know it is hot enough for eggs when your falling tears sizzle as they hit the pan.

6 1/2 inch bottom and 8 inch rim
Not gonna lie when I opened the box I nearly sent it back. You must be joking the smallest fry pan I’ve ever seen. When I ordered what looked like a straight sided pan I expected an 8 inch bottom not 6 1/2 inch., But I decided to give the midget a run on my induction cooktop since it was here. There’s only my husband and I for breakfast, fried ham or sausage maybe a fried potato and 4 scrambled eggs aren’t huge pan items anyway. I was so surprised that this pan takes it all. It cooks very evenly. Cleans with a paper towel wipeout and never sticks for me. I have to admit , after a few weeks of using it , it’s my go to pan. I liked it well enough to buy its 10” brother this week. It is much heavier than a standard Teflon pan but not cast iron heavy. The one thing I don’t like is the outside of the pan rivets have lots of nooks and crannies and will be harder to keep clean. Over all I would gladly buy it again. I haven’t used it in the oven yet but up to 600 degrees sounds awesome.Additional note from 6 months later. The baby pan and its 10 inch brother still have flat non warped bottoms. Both used daily on an induction burner with a 6 inch magnetic. No scratches yet but I’m not using metal spatulas in them either. If I fry ham or sausage in them and want to scramble eggs after I plate the meat, put a little water in pan and a swirl and wipe out with paper towel and it’s totally clean and ready to go for eggs. Mine isn’t as non stick if I put it in the dishwasher, but with how easy it cleans up I don’t feel that a problem. I do always use just a little bit of butter or oil, just the tinniest amount in the bottom to start. Still would buy it again.

It does stick but still my favorite pan.
It began to stick in the middle from the first week -requires more oil which seems to deny the claim of “nonstick” and also requires use of my stainless spatula. However, it cleaned up beautifully with my stainless scrubbie and has lasted 3yrs of almost daily use before it began pitting which prompted 4 stars as I consider that a good run for a nonstick pan.
