We bought this item listed (Mentos Gum Big Bottle Curvy, Pure Fresh Mint, 50 Pieces)  on 10/3/2015 and again on 10/17/2015. For both of those purchases, Amazon was the seller. Each time it was for a SINGLE bottle, but the price was fantastically low. On 10/9/15 = $2.50 a bottle, on 10/3/2015 = $2.99 a bottle, both with Free/Prime shipping.We bought a LOT of bottles at that price, lower than grocery store unless get on a great sale there. :) HOWEVER...The price and quantity of this listing changes depending on who is the seller.  E.g. today, 12/28/2015, the default seller is Amazon and their single bottle price is ridiculous at $8.14 a bottle. Whhaaaaaaat?!?! I've been waiting for the price of this gum from any seller on Amazon to be less expensive (including shipping cost) than the grocery store for a while now. I haven't caught it again yet. Does not mean it hasn't been a low price, because prices fluctuate as Amazon itself gets more product or swaps sellers into the "default" selling slot when you bring the page up. Sheesh, the prices online have stayed so high you'd think they weren't making this gum anymore! :oTAKE AWAY is -->>>Don't just blindly re-order something from your order history because you ordered it in the past. You MUST check the current price and quantity you will get from seller xx.This happens a LOT with Amazon nowadays with all the sellers they roll through on the same product listing page{{ I seriously do NOT like Amazon's newest product pages. They are the cause of this confusion and why people have to ask these questions, which we'd all think would be obvious on a product listing! PS - if you see it's confusing or wrong, send Amazon feedback about the product listing page!!! It will help if more of us did that. Perhaps Amazon would then get the idea and not lump so many sellers to a listing that the actual product is incorrectly described sometimes. It's not always clear WHO you are getting a product from and the listing can be incorrect and definitely confusing, especially if one time you look at the listing and it's quantity=1 and next time it's quantity=4 cuz from a different seller. Really, those should be split out into different product listings.  This is a good example here - some sellers sell multiple bottles of the gum, but get rotated into this listing looking like a crazy price for a single bottle. Worse, IMO - it also means you might not be getting the same quality of product from different sellers - which means reviews can be inconsistent due to getting product from different sellers! This is not unique to this Mentos product, it applies to many products. Well, that's my opinion on that! ;)  }}Hope this helps,c-

Ignore valleylady48. It DOES specify that it's gluten free under the descrition, "Mentos Pure Fresh Gum is free from 7 Allergan’s milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts and wheat. Mentos Pure Fresh Gum is Gluten and Fat Free and does not contain pork, fish or turkey- animal based gelatin ingredients."

So, 1 small container for $25? They go for $4 in the local store. Other sites are selling 6 containers in a case for $24.
