Stellar Performance and Lightning Speeds: Western Digital WD Black SN770 NVMe 1TB Review
Rating: ★★★★★I recently upgraded my MSI GF 63 with the Western Digital WD Black SN770 NVMe 1TB, and the results have been nothing short of outstanding. This NVMe SSD has proven to be a game-changer, providing an exceptional blend of speed, reliability, and efficiency.Pros:Blazing Fast Speeds: The standout feature of the WD Black SN770 is its remarkable speed, reaching up to 4000 MB/s in both read and write operations. This has translated into an astonishingly quick boot time of approximately 8 seconds for my MSI GF 63, making the overall system responsiveness a delight.Smooth Gaming Experience: High-end gaming experiences with graphics-intensive titles like GTA V, FIFA, and CS feel like a breeze. The SSD ensures that games run seamlessly, akin to a hot knife cutting through butter. The absence of lag adds a whole new level of enjoyment to the gaming sessions. No Heating Issues: Despite the impressive speeds and demanding tasks, the WD Black SN770 maintains a cool operating temperature. The lack of heating issues is crucial for sustained performance and the overall longevity of the drive.Efficient for Creative Tasks: Beyond gaming, this SSD proves its worth in image and video editing. The lightning-fast processing speeds significantly reduce waiting times, enhancing productivity for creative professionals.Consistent Performance: Throughout the first week of usage, I have encountered no issues or drawbacks. The WD Black SN770 has consistently delivered on its promises, surpassing expectations in every aspect.Cons:Limited Usage Time for Assessment: As of now, it's challenging to pinpoint any significant drawbacks since my usage has been limited to just a week. However, the absence of issues during this initial period is a positive indicator. Conclusion:In my years of using various storage solutions, I rarely award a perfect 5-star rating. However, the Western Digital WD Black SN770 NVMe 1TB has earned every bit of it. Its outstanding speed, seamless gaming experience, and reliability make it a top-tier choice for those seeking uncompromising performance. While it's still early days in my usage, the initial impressions are more than promising. If you're looking for a high-performance NVMe SSD that delivers on its promises, the WD Black SN770 is undoubtedly a worthy investment.

Value for money!
Its a good mid-range performance SSD. Its been out for a while and has established itself as super reliable. Speed seems to be decent as I am using on PCI gen3 but nothing earth shattering. Easy to install but the mount screw is not available in the package which was skimpy of WD, deducted a star for that. Heat level has barely exceeded 40 degrees so far, even though its my primary OS drive. You get Acronis software license free with it, which appears super useful for cloning and other purposes. Its a good drive for normal users and gaming beginners.

Best overall for storing games and files
This is best ssd for my laptop .I have 3x4 gen slot so basically I m worried that it works or not but it works flawless and excellent. Speed is also very good.i m too much in gaming and want a full library of some better games.i have pre-installed 512gb which is h only 422gb free space when I first boot my laptop.it has 932 gb free space which is good in storage.installation is very easy.also it compatibles to ur 3x4 gen slot as well as 4x4 slot.So its a much needed ssd for every user who is heavy on gaming or editing

Great Speeds Even on Gen 3
I'm quite satisfied with the speeds I'm getting. I've installed this SSD in my laptop's PCIe Gen 3.0 slot, so naturally the performance isn't on par with full Gen 4 speeds. Still, for a Gen 4 NVMe running on a Gen 3 slot, it delivers impressive performance. No heating issues faced in last 6 month of use, even while heavy gaming and without any heatsink. Overall, a great product and value for money.
