This is an amazing product! We bought both the RodeCaster 2 Pro and the Rode Caster Duo.I must have watched dozens of reviews and videos on the RodeCaster 2 Pro and the Rodecaster Duo. I am not a muscian, singer, artist, podcaster, or contents creator, but this product has opened a whole new world of possibilities for gaming and networking, among many things that I dont know if the developers knew it could be used for. There are plenty of reviews for its intended purpose, but if you erase your plate and look at this product for what it is, you can get so much more out of it.We use the 2 Pro for our main church audio/streaming needs. It also helps us coordinate our theatrical performances for plays and special events.aside from this, in my free time, I game with my family. Being able to connect 2 computers to our RodeCasters add a new layer to gaming with others. We can enjoy our amazing sound quaility with our various hifi audio headphones while playing our own games and being able to mix audio channels, though various output routing functions on the Rodecaster, to allow us to share content we are each listening to on our own devices. The RodeCaster is a main part of our set up. We use this for our Man cave, but with the right set up, the possibilities are limitless, as they say.some people may say that their are other devices that can do this too, but those are the people that do not understand the full capabilities of this device or limit it to their own understanding. If I am going to invest in something, I would like to know all the ins and outs of the product.For privacy reasons, I will not show a picture of my home, but I will share how we have it setup at our church. My name is Xavier. My parents and I share an Amazon account. I am insanely happy with this mixer. It doesn’t come with any paper instructions, in way of a QR code on the device, but setup was easy enough once I had the software downloaded. I have Beyer DT990 Pros, and a Shure MV7X. I was running them with an M-Audio Air interface for the mic, a FetHead for proper power to the mic, and a DAC for the headphones. This mixer looked at all of those, and laughed. No external equipment, aside from the peripherals themselves, is needed with this mixer. It provides more than enough power to both of those devices, to the point that the phantom power for the mic, was actually feeding too much power to it. Seriously, give this product serious consideration if you’re looking for an audio rig. The amount of control, customization, and “it just works,” is leagues ahead of the setup with all the different devices. It’s ultimately more expensive than the options I listed previously, but I wish I had gone this route to begin with. This will provide the experience and quality you’re looking for. The only thing that the other options do better, is space saving. This mixer is fantastic, but it definitely isn’t suited for smaller desk spaces. Make space a consideration. The desk space issue isn’t enough for me to dock a star from this product.
