The spikes were really easy to install on my leather jacket I was making for a Spider-Punk cosplay. They looked great and we’re nice and durable too. Also not sharp so they’re generally pretty safe around your face if your throwing them on your shoulders like I was. Just a tip for anyone doing so: Add a durable layer of something (I used 1/4” EVA foam) in between the stud screw and the fabric you’re adding spikes to. It’ll keep them upright.

Fantastic spikes! A bit heavy for the project I had in mind, but I am definitely going to find a use for them!

These are the biggest spikes I’ve been able to find on Amazon (so far!)I wanted new spikes to adorn my boots and these looked like a perfect fit, but I do have some complaints. The threading isn’t nearly as long; I got maybe 2 full rotations in, as opposed to being able to fully screw the spikes in. I’ve had big spikes before and it’s a gamble on whether they come sharp or not sometimes. These were not sharp, so if you’re explicitly looking for sharp spikes these are not it. They LOOK amazing, and I’ll be honest that’s the main reason I bought them, but I did also buy them with the intention of wearing them regularly and the spikes are just barely screwed into the leather and I’m afraid if I do wear them out that they’ll get snagged and rip the spikes right off. For photo shoots and thinner material I’m sure it works just fine, and it definitely looks dramatic, I’d just be cautious about thicker material. Maybe if the screws were longer and the threading went deeper into the spike it’d be a 5 star item.

VERY nice quality and great price. They were perfect for the choker I was making. One thing to keep in mind is that these spikes are quite heavy, so make sure whatever you’re putting them on can support them.

I am very satisfied with these studs. I will be buying more in various colors in the near future. They look very good on black football shoulder pads and a baseball batter's helmet.If you are going through material over 3/16" thick, you may want to get slightly longer backing screws, yet be careful not to get them too long or you won't be able to screw them all the way in before hitting the bottom of the threaded hole in the stud.
