This is a great kitchen garbage can... well made and just as described. The finish is superb, does not stain and cleans up easily to a shine with just a damp cloth. It holds standard kitchen garbage bags and the bags that come with it are of great quality (so might actually buy them from now on). It's conveniently emptied, and bags changed after lifting the plastic bin out. The foot pedal operates easily and reliably, and the lock feature keeps the lid open securely when you need it to.
