Laser misaligned on first unit, returned, bought another and out was misaligned too
The laser came out at an angle on the two units I bought. That renders the built in level bubbles totally useless for measuring purposes. It also means you cannot lay the device on the floor or against the wall to measure. Nor can you stand it on its end. The promotional images on the Suaoki website demonstrate that the laser should come out straight. Also, the promotional images for the other devices on Amazon show a laser coming straight out. There are many devices using the same underlying technology on Amazon but when built Suaoki have not taken care for the two I received. You can tell the others are the same underneath as they cost a similar price and have the same functions, display and buttons, just with a slightly different layout. This is exactly the same as a different brand one I bought: Qyuhe® Laser Measure Distance Meter 100M/328ft Measuring Device Tool with Backlit Display, but that had a last that came out straightish, perhaps a slight angle (likely not completely 90 degrees as laser levels cost alot more, so I don't expect too much). Some of the other devices available have tripod mounts, some have level bubbles, some have an extendy bit at the back. This only has levels and an extendy bit at the back for awkward measuring spots, none has all three. I don't want a tripod mount as that is completely useless - you still have to measure from the back or front of the device, how are you going to set the tripod up for that to suit and be accurate? Why not just use blue tack - the device is so incredibly light, that would be more flexible than a fixed mounting point. Also the back extender is not needed, just use the add function - measure once from the back, then turn around and measure once from the front - even more flexible.

OK Works button a little bit mehh
I have had this three months. Seems to measure OK.I did have problems with the orange button but I think it may partly have been my fault. You need two presses to get a reading one to switch on the laser and one to take the reading.I have upgraded my review to 4 stars but reserved one star because the button whilst it works does not have an positive click action.

Good value and works well
I got this during a flash sale and have been very happy with it ever since I got it; it just works and has been millimeter accurate so far. I haven't used it up to 100 metres yet - but everything up to 30 meters has been fine. The manual is wrong about remembering after a power cycle whether you set it to measure from the front, back or extension of the device (it does) - but that's the only niggle I've encountered.

Probably ok for shorter lengths / distances
Find this tricky to use and for long distances that I purchased it for was disappointed with its ability to get accurate readings.

Just bought this and it measured 9 and a half ...
Just bought this and it measured 9 and a half inches as 9 inches. Not exactly accurate to +- 1.5 mm.Not sure if anyone else has tried this.

Easy to use quality bit of kit.
I have used this quite a lot since I purchased it and on several occasions checked it against the trusty old tape measure. Its been accurate to the millimetre so far and appears well made. Its got more functions than I will ever use but its fine for what I want it for. It has a nice quality feel to it and the included pouch is very useful.

Battery loses contact with terminals
The product is good but the batteries giggle around to causing them to lose contact with the terminals. This has forced me to put a foam square in the battery compartment to resolve the issue, but this could also be achieved with some folded paper.
