I want so much to say how wonderful this product is. I want to tell you how rugged it feels, how well-thought-out the design is, how practical it is for its designated purpose... but I am so disappointed that none of that seems to outweigh it.I’d been longing for a Booq Daypack for over a year as I’d decided it was the best in class and ideal for my needs. The materials, colour choices, elegance were all appealing.I received the product 2 weeks prior to this review and was, at first, satisfied. But then I realised that the stitching around the zipper was poorly done and coming unwound. Then I realised that the “practical” fasteners on the side pockets never stay closed regardless of whether the pockets even have anything in them. (Seriously, you can just look at them for a few moments and they pop open by themselves).All in all, this is NOT the premium product it proports to be. It’s pretty. The materials feel great. But the workmanship is seriously lacking.And that brings me to to the even bigger issue: When I contacted their customer service people to ask for a replacement they were, at first, prompt and helpful, but I didn’t understand exactly what they required me to do and they no longer had the colour I wanted. I begrudgingly chose another colour and asked for clarification for what they required... and then never heard back from them. Their supposed 24-hour response time went out of the window. I even sent 2 follow up emails pleading with them as I do desperately needed a replacement for my daily work commute and travel backpack, but no reply for 4 days.Appalling. Amazon were much more helpful and I’m returning the product to them for a refund and steering clear of Booq. I’d advise you all to do the same.
