The Bible is Funny card game has quickly become a hit in our game nights. It's themeing is well done, not preachy or disrespectful. Probably most attractive to folks with at least some affinity for the theme. Only real negative is after about five or six games the cards start be repeated...but that's how it goes with this type of game. The positives:1. This game was so much fun. It's like Apples to Apples and Cards Against Humanity. It's nice to know that it is appropriate for all age groups. It used a mix of well known and obscure scripture. We had to look up a few of them to see if they were really in the Bible and indeed they were. My only warning is that you need to know some biblical terms. We played with a family member that is not familiar with the Bible. One of the prompts was about "Levitical Law." My family member needed it explained. Despite needing some explanations, my family member really enjoyed the game.

Fun game, had us cracking up. Played with our kids (12 and 10) and they really enjoyed it. Reminds me of Apples to Apples, easy to learn and start playing quickly! Only wish there were more cards.

This game is so cute. Love the appropriateness for the family while also being super entertaining for adults.I can’t wait to play this with the entire family at holidays. Perfect to add to family game night collection.

Wonderful family game. Great conversation starter and a spring board for looking deeper into Bible stories to see where these verses come from!

This game is simple to play and so funny. Similar to Apples to Apples, there is a prompt like "what I think while listening to a true crime podcast" or "the theme for VBS this year." Then you "match" one of the Bible verses in your hand to that and see if the judge picks yours as their favorite. The verses the creators selected to put in the game are great. We had to keep looking them up--'is that really how it's in there?' Yes. Often it's a part of the verse. But taken from mainstream translations--we saw NIV, NLT, ESV. I really do recommend this game for groups.

I do not leave reviews, but enjoyed this so much I had to comment. The game was simple to understand (8 yr old able to participate), hilarious instructions, and overall creative prompt (or question) cards and answers (verse). The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because we quickly cycled through the 165 verse cards, though this was definitely in part due to having 9 players. We will play again but limit the number of verse cards initially dealt and maintained. We all hope an expansion deck will be available soon.
