Le CreusetStoneware Heritage Butter Dish, Marseille

Purchased this for my Granddaughter and she loved it. This to go with a total set of the 6 place rainbow Le Creuset plates and bowls.

Beautiful dish. Holds a stick of butter with room to spare.

I wanted a certain size and look and this did the job. It’s perfect and the color options are great. Very happy with mine.

I've always been more budget conscious and wary of "paying for the name", or what my Dad lovingly refers to as "the idiot tax", but I'll always make an exception for Le Creuset. Put simply, it's worth it. They're just quality products, and this stoneware is no exception. There's a reason people argue over these as inheritance.This butter dish is easy to clean, either hand wash or dishwasher. It holds two US sized sticks of butter comfortably, closing properly which other dishes I've owned have struggled with. The weight of the lid is enough to create a good seal. The listing mentions it's microwave safe, but I've never had occasion to test it.The color of this is as pictured and matches our decor well.

It’s the perfect butter dish when your brand new refridgerator doesn’t have a butter shelf!! Odd right! So I bought this Le Creuset grey ombre butter dish with a lid. I love it!! I keep it refrigerated but the butter isn’t very hard when I’m about to use it and that’s a plus when my granddaughters want Bread and butter!! It’s very sturdy and has a small handle on the lid for easier access. Le Creuset never disappoints!!

It’s absolutely beautiful. It looks large in the pictures but it’s not as big as you would think. I love how the underbody sticks out on the sides. I thought it might be odd but it looks extremely fashionable. Matches other Le Creuset items perfectly. Check out the salt & pepper shakers to put next to it

I got the red butter dish because it blends well my three lodge red cast iron 6 qt cooker. The style is nice. The smalls handle on top is nice touch my previous dish did not have. I also like the larger, slanted and ribbed side handles that give a more secure grip when moving it. Over-priced imho. But the color and features moved me to choose over price alone in this case.This is my first Le creuset item so time will tell on how it holds up to heavy kitchen use.

This is a great butter keeper. Great quality. Nice color, expensive but you are paying for the brand so worth it. Hard to clean up thats because you are cleaning butter. Keeps the butter at a nice softness.
