Petites, these are perfect! Bought for an upcoming trip to Norway. I tried and returned several other brands and sizes before these. I'm 5'1, 127 lbs. and usually a 4P or 6P. I got a Medium Short because I wanted some room to put a wool layer underneath. They are plenty loose for that, but not so big that they're falling down. The waist has a little elastic on both sides - very comfortable without being frumpy. Not sure I'll use the belt. Plenty of pockets, all zippered. The inseam is a tad long barefoot, but perfect with hiking boots. And I love the straight legs! The soft lining is thin but warm - no "Christmas Story" puffy snowsuit look here. Very comfortable and stylish walking around. Have not tested the waterproofness, but will update my review after Norway if that's not as perfect as everything else about these pants.

Super comfortable! I think they run a bit small. I’m 5’7, 128 pounds, i usually wear a size 6 in pants and I ordered size Small. They fit snug in waist and legs… like if they shrink they won’t fit. A little muffin top too. I’m keeping them though.

What the title says. Shockingly nice for the price. Fit was good, warmth in low temps was good but was really bummed when the zipper of one of the pockets broke on the first day wearing them and I almost lost the stuff I had in that pocket (fell out in the snow). The other pocket zipper broke on the second day. Other than that, the waterproofing I put on them held up and they work well for all things considered (I wear them for ice climbing and snowboarding)

Love them so much I bought a second pair. The style is complimentary and they are warm enough to wear alone. I got a large/tall and the fit was perfect to add a layer underneath or wear alone. They are water resistant but extended exposure to water will eventually soak thru. Great for snow play or skiing but they will get wet if you’re out there in it for a while. I bought black both times and the color is black. The only difference I noticed is the waist fastener is different in the second pair. The first one has a hook type closure and the second is a snap (which I don’t have any issues with at all). Love these pants.

For reference - I'm 5'6, 170lb athletic build F (with a bit of middle age fluff) and purchased size Large, Black pants.I purchased these in the fall, and its finally cold and blustery here in the midwest US. Wore them this morning to play with my pup in 12 degree windchill, with snow and wind coming down. They performed splendidly!I wore a high quality base layer underneath these Benboy pants, and they fit well with room to move. They are comfortable, lightweight, flexible, and very functional. The waistband has elastic gathering in strategic places that allows for give, but also remains flattering since it's not a full elastic waist. The pockets have ample room and you can carry several things if needed. I really REALLY love the textured/rugged knee area - its not so stiff to be bulky, but its rugged enough to deal with a jumping dog and ice and crud on the ground.The bottom of the pants have ample room for boots to be worn underneath, but because the pants are lightweight and flexible, you could tuck them into boots as well.They performed amazingly against the cold, windy, blustery 12F temps for 2 hours of pup time. They were completely windproof, stayed dry, staved off several puppy attacks :) and with a slight brushing off, they looked like they just came out of the package.I cannot say enough for these pants for light to moderate outdoor winter activity. I am very pleased with them and will be ordering additional pairs. The pricepoint of these pants is out of this world. I'd expect to spend 4x as much for this quality!***Came back to edit this review after wearing these pants non-stop through winter storm Elliot (December 2022). I had to take my 6 month old puppy out in -40f with 30-50 mph winds, several times a day and night. With a high quality base layer and the baleaf fleece lined tights (also sold on anazon) under these, they were rock solid. Completely wind and cold proof. If you think your should buy a pair of these, the answer is a resounding YES!! I have 2 pr and will but a few more in other colors. At this price point, there is nothing that comes close! I bought these for a trip to Nepal for hiking in the Himalayas and they did not disappoint! They’re comfy, warm, stylish, and held up great in 10+ miles long hiking days. We luckily didn’t encounter too much snow/rain, just a light drizzle, but they kept me warm and dry.I went with size L tall as I’m a leggy 5’7” and the length was great. Prob could have gone with a M though for waist and bagginess (for reference I’m about 155lbs), but I wore long underwear every day and my was worried with a M it would be too tight (I don’t think so).Overall these were with the money for sure!

The pants seem true to size and well made but a 32" inseam for a medium doesn't make sense. They bunch at the bottom on me. I'm 5'6" and a normal 30" or 29" inseam would be better. They don't look good turned up. The fabric used at the knees lets cold air through. When I stood for an hour in a breezy place near the water for a field research project, my legs got cold because the wind went right through the knee section. If they were the right length the pants would look good. If you're not moving around a lot, those knee patches let too much cold air in.

I do not do reviews often, but these deserved it! We just got back from an Alaskan Cruise and I needed warmth! I am ALWAYS COLD. These were PERFECT!!! Roomy, comfortable, waterproof (it rained a ton) and all the zippered pockets were fantastic. Great quality, highly recommend! I wear an 8-10 in pants and got the large. I wanted them looser to provide room for layering a pair of leggings underneath for extra warmth an it worked perfect. Seriously, order these!
