Just what I needed
Love it! My plants are growing terrifically after 1 month. Has different settings, brightness, and colors. Includes a 24 hour setting and a timer. I wanted a decently priced light that had at least 1 watt per gallon - 24 watt for my 20 gallon.

They aren't waterproof.
I bought two of these 2 1/2 years ago. Both of them worked great until a 4-yr old visited. I wasn't watching him and he put the light in the aquarium. Not working now. The other one is still going. They aren't waterproof. I bought another one. I hope it's as good as the old ones.UPDATE: The light fell in the acquarium on Saturday. Ordered a new one on Sunday. It came on Monday. Old one still plugged in outlet and came back on Tuesday. I guess it's waterproof?

Beautiful daylight cycles
I love these lights. Very easy to set everything. It is beautiful crisp light. The time shifts for some reason, on and off move forward 10 mins every day, so I eventually have to res-set once a week. But no biggy.... very fair price, so I won't sweat it.

Short life span.
Worked well and looked great for about six months and then it started having issues.

Piece of junk
It started giving trouble at about 8 months and now the only way to get it on is to jiggle the wires on the inline remote and sometimes that don’t work. Don’t waste your money on this foreign piece of junk.
