The media could not be loaded. The journal is very inviting and easy for younger readers which is exactly what I was looking for. My daughter is 7 and loves this set. Picks it up on her own at bedtime and either I sit with or, or give her an overview of the pages she wants to do, and she's about to take it from there. I like that she can bring me in when she wants my input or to share something, but can also do it independently.Now onto the jars: They complete the package. She really enjoyed placing applicable stickers on each jar and beginning to understand the meaning and uses behind each. They are of good quality and just the right size. The covers have a sealing feel and pop sound when they open and really motivate her to fill them and unload those feelings and thoughts that she may be carrying. Highly recommend for a first journal, but note that 6-7 age range(developing reader) would be when they can begin to do it independently. Any early and you will have to facilitate. Overall, love it.

I purchased this as a gift for my intern. She loved it. I liked it so much that I'm purchasing one for myself to use with clients.

My 7 year old really likes this journal and had fun decorating the jars. I was surprised how much he and his 1.5 year old brother just like playing with the jars though. The lids stay on when open so they don't get lost, and they have enjoyed doing a match the emotion game with little emotion discs that we already had. The jars are thankfully very durable and hold up to rough handling well. The colors are vivid but you can still clearly see what os in the jar from the outside. My only complaint is that the little papers to write one are a little small for younger kids who still write pretty large.

This is a great value for the cost, my son has loved setting it up and is learning along the way. The size is nice and compact so doesn’t take up too much room.

I mostly use the book that came with this. I have used many books and this one by far has been one of the best for many ages.

This was a gift for a family and they fully enjoyed it.
