The pack will last many weeks or months. It adds a definite taste bomb to almost anything it is put in and occurs naturally in many foods such as tomatoes, cheese and mushrooms. I always avoided MSG until I read recently that there is nothing to fear as tests have found nothing negative. When a very small amount is added to sweet or savoury cooking there is a definite lift in flavour from the umami it adds.

Great but not for everyone. Very tasty on savoury food but does make some people very bloated.

Ordered this instead of the 200g pack by mistake. The msg is the same, but half as much for the same price. Great stuff though. I'm this close to putting it in my coffee.
