It’s appearance quality and versatility

I ordered this for a national work travel. It was perfect for my laptop. Got lots of complements,the hard case design was nice and even TSA was like "nice backpack"super light. limited space for laptop, charger, peripherals. but love the sleek design.

My benchmark for a laptop backpack is that it should hold my current laptop and iPad, both in their cases, with protection and comfort. With a 16" Macbook Pro M2 Pro in plastic shell and a 12.9" iPad Pro in Logi keyboard case with pencil both fitting neatly in the pockets of this backpack with room to spare, I'm satisfied.This backpack is a bit more minimalist than I usually carry - three inside pockets and only one padded half-length or so back pocket on the outside - but I've felt for years that I could use some work on organizing my gear for travel.The front shell is hard plastic, but not bulky - the laptop itself is pretty thin for a "security" backpack, and the TSA-compliant combo lock will deter casual criminals from poking around. There's a USB panel, A and C, for a battery pack (not included of course). And the back is padded and comfortable.I think I'm going to switch from a larger backpack to this one for the rest of the year and see how well it influences me to behave with my travel gear collection.

I bring my laptop with me on work trips, and was looking forward to a case that was more protective, that I could easily carry. This case compromises on those goals in an unhappy middle. Why do I say this?The protective shield covers around the sides and on one of the faces of the backpack. That part is high quality, undoubtedly very protective and looks good too - although it is definitely a unique style. But the remaining side, where the straps are and it sits on your back - is soft. So the actual amount of protection is a standard backpack - ie nothing - except when it is sitting on a hard surface the right way. No way I would put this in with any other luggage and just hope nothing hits what makes up 40% of the backpacks surface.Perhaps the choice to make the part that sits on your back soft was to make the backpack comfortable. But the backpack feels like a rigid object on your back (because most of it is) - making it rather uncomfortable. So I carry it by the top handle, which is more difficult to carry height wise vs a briefcase type side handle.Unfortunately, what the combination results as is a significantly vulnerable bag - to cutting or crushing - that is also quite uncomfortable. If you really like the look, you can make it work - but if you are looking for protection or comfort it's not a good choice.

Has a carbon fiber look to it and a hard back casing but still looks ave feels good. The size is a little too small for me but it is still comfortable and easy to keep everything organized like your laptop and your paperwork. The quality is decent compared to regular backpacks and this backpack has a few security features that makes you more comfortable carrying it around so the confort and durability is 4 out of 5 stars!!

This is a very good quality bag. Well put together and go rest materials. My problem with this bag is how tall the shell of this bag is. I'm a very petite woman with a very short torso. When I wear this bag as a backpack extends up to my neck and rides at the top of my bottom. No amount of adjusting fixes this. This isn't a fault of the bag just because I am extremely short. 4'3".My husband has been carrying it and hasn't had any of the issues that I did. It fits his 17-in laptop with a couple pocket for accessories such as his external mouse and the power supply. There's another pocket that would probably fit another tablet or laptop but he uses it to keep his files.Overall the material is great quality. My husband takes a commuter train and this bag survives that easily with all the jostling and bustling going on. This bag is really roomy and it opens very wide so that's a plus. I think this would make a great gift for a college student. They con we experienced was that we couldn't get the bag to adjust to my extremely small frame.
