Easy to use
I fixed my Samsung washing machine on my own. Installed this new part and it fixed this issue.

Works great with my LG WT7300CW top-load washing machine.
I bought this to replace the lock mechanism on my LG washing machine, model WT7300CW, product code T1789EFHU.ABWEUUS.I had been fighting with the original lock for a few days and got tired of messing with it. Thankfully Amazon had this new lock which was a pop-in replacement for the old one. One thing to note, this new lock does not have the cable ties/keep-aways included. When removing the old lock from the washer, leave the cable ties and other cable keepers from the old one to use with this new one.It has been a few weeks now and it is working great. If you're comfortable with figuring out how to get into the washer, then this is a realistic DIY fix.

For WT7600HKA there are additional steps. Do not try to loosen the top with a putty knife.
I recently purchased and installed the Door Lock Switch/Sensor replacement part for my LG washing machine, specifically the WT7600HKA model. The installation process was relatively straightforward, but required some careful attention to detail. One thing to note is that on the WT7600HKA, there are two screws located at the back of the machine that need to be removed in order to detach the top part of the washing machine. Once the top part is removed, there are two additional screws located under a cover in the gap between the control panel and the washing machine that must be loosened to remove the Control Panel assembly.Once the Control Panel assembly is detached, replacing the Door Lock Switch/Sensor was a breeze. The new part fit perfectly and securely. I was able to reattach the Control Panel assembly and the top part of the washing machine without any issues.Overall, I am very satisfied with the Door Lock Switch/Sensor replacement part for the LG washing machine. It was easy to install, and I no longer have issues with the switch/sensor. I would definitely recommend this replacement part to anyone who is experiencing similar issues with their LG or Kenmore washing machine.
