All around great DIY repair product
This is the first time I've used the J-B Weld version of this two-part putty kind of product. I actually preferred it over the Bondo version because its activator is blue (rather than white like Bondo's), which makes it much easier to assess the blending process. Aside from that, I found it just as reliable, easy to work with, and excellent for making flawless and robust repairs in wood, metal, masonry, etc.

Great product
I used this in a vintage glider restore. I had never used a product like this before. Followed instructions. The only thing I recommend is, DO NOT USE IT IN HOT WEATHER. 60-70 works best. Dries very hard, sands easily. Great product.

Sets up VERY fast - so you better work FAST!
Once you put that hardener in the putty, it's off to the races! As you've got NO more than five minutes before it begins to harden to the point that it's unspreadable. Now, this is great for holes or cracks that you want to quickly get to sanding and painting, so as to complete the job very quickly. So, do not mix up more than you can work on in this narrow window. I used it to patch some cracks in a very large ceramic pot that were caused by days of hard freezes (probably should have waterproofed the inside before planting). It has a strong smell, which is no problem outdoors.

missing the hardener, but great customer service
It came without the hardener but I contacted jb weld and Natalie took care of it within 3 minutes and told me to expect it, and an extra tube, in the mail in a few days. From previous experience, I know this product is awesome, and almost as hard and strong as straight epoxy . And much cheaper

Easy to Use, Works Great!
I used this to repair some rot in a windowsill. There are many videos out there explaining how to do this. The product is a 2 part putty that, once mixed, gives you about 5 minutes to work with. As the reaction occurs, the putty becomes thicker and thicker giving you ample time to shape it. After it sets for about an hour, you can actually shave it with a putty knife to reduce sanding later. Finally, after 24 hours, it sands like wood. Sand it, prime it, paint it. The repair is invisible. I even used it to fill minor dents in exterior steel doors. Be sure to sand it down to bare metal before applying it. Sand, prime, paint. Awesome stuff.

NOT GOOD FOR DRYWALL
What a nightmare! I could see where it would be good for cars and metal. But drywall?! Forget it!! I tried it on hairline cracks on my drywall before repainting. First of all, the smell is so overwhelming you must open all the windows. Secondly, it was so hard to sand. The sandpaper binds up in like 30 seconds. You have to constantly change sandpaper. I only did three cracks and was so disgusted, I threw the full container out and went to joint compound.
