This is my first time posting a review anywhere. Ive been a big fan of pocket watches as long as I can remember. I have from expensive to moderately priced ones. I purchased this one because i liked the color and the numerals are easy to read, its been a good watch until now. The release button for the cover came out so i have no way to open it. Thinking about buying another but not sure if the same issue will happen. I didnt see any reviews saying anything about it coming apart in your pocket.

Bought this beautiful watch for my Dad who has diminished vision. He was thrilled with the readability of the large numbers and the attractiveness of the watch. Unfortunately, while setting the watch the stem completely broke off. After contacting the seller they immediately sent a postage label so I could mail the watch back to them with the promise to either repair or replace it. They repaired it and returned it to me in record time. David Robbins at Gotham Watch Co. gets an A+++! The watch was returned in perfect condition with all the metal and glass protected. It is keeping perfect time and Dad is thrilled. We both highly recommend this company and their watches.

When you need a pocket watch, consider this one. It is small enough to fit in your pocket watch pocket on your jeans, looks great, has a solid feel when you press the cover release button, is very easy to read, has a second hand, and numbered tick marks. This is a great watch when you are looking for just a time piece.

I don't like wearing watches, but I need a watch at times. This watch fits perfectly in my jeans' watch pocket. I'm not thrilled with the watch chain, but it is necessary. The quality of the chain is fine, I feel like more of a redneck with a chain running into my pocket is all. The watch tells time well. I got this watch because of the numbers for each minute. I use it to help my 7 year old learn how to tell time.The watch did stop once (after a few months use) and I wondered how to change the battery. Somehow it started working again after I updated the time to be current. I'm not certain what happened, but there is no reason to wind the watch, so it's a mystery to me.

Very accurate watch for the money.

This watch got $54 dollars more than my other one and is the same quality. I lovedf my 10$ one and the battery died. I got it as a trial to see if I was a picket watch kind of guy or not. Feeling like a pocket watch kind of guy now I decided to buy this since it seemed like a decent upgrade without droping $200 like I was thinking about. I wish I dropped the 200 bones or just bought another 10$ one.... I suggest you either spend way less or invest a bit more.

Purchased for our 15 year-old son. He was rough on wrist watches, going through three inexpensive digitals in little over a year. He scratched and damaged the plastic crystals and tore the rubber wristbands. So we thought why not try a pocket watch? This watch is much more than we expected at a reasonable price. The case is metal and the finish is flawless. The dial has big crisp white numerals against a black background, and it includes a matching black watch chain that has decent links and fasteners that should keep him from losing it. It is battery operated so no chance of over winding damage. Good quality spring steel used for the opener also, a simple push on the crown and it snaps open nicely. As another reviewer noted, this watch actually looks better than the Amazon photo. He likes it a lot too, he is the only kid with one for now. Very happy with the purchase and the manufacturing quality.
