I would have given the HFRHTGY Adjustable Silk Satin Hair Bonnet five stars. but I have to agree the adjustment 'clip' is truly uncomfortable, made of hard plastic and about the size of a nickel. After reading other reviews I had sifted the adjustment clip off to the side, since I do sometimes sleep on my back. When I woke up the next day, my hair looked nice, but I had a painful indentation near my ear and it was still sore after a couple of days.I now sleep with the bonnet flipped around, with the clip near my forehead, after trying different positions for the 'clip'. It doesn't always stay on through the night, because of this, but I'm also not waking up in pain.I do have a satin pillow case, but the reason I bought the bonnet was I was tired of waking up to readjust my long hair, every time it would get caught around my neck or back. The bonnet keeps my hair in place and my head feels cooler, allowing me to sleep better.If anyone has figured out a solution, please share, because otherwise it is a nice satin hair bonnet, at a very affordable price.

This is comfortable, however I got way too hot in the night with this on and had to take it off. But I have long hair, so all that hair piled on top of my head contributed to the heat factor.

I bought this April 2025 and it had died in 3 months. The electric cord used to adjust the fit has stretched to just slippery silk cord that does NOT stay in place with pressure clip, so it's just a big slippery bag.Right from the start I really didn't like the smell of it after I washed it.FYI ... silk never gets clean! It's keeps growing bacteria and it naturally attracts moisture like sweat or even high humidity and it will definitely develop a "smell of it's own" which some people didn't mind ... I do and it stinks.It's did work really well keeping my hair in place for three months but I'd never recommend this because the adjustment cord died in 3 months and it's SILK that can't help but grow bacteria!

I realized that my habit of sleeping on my rough couch has been hurting my hair. I didn't want to go the turban route, but the muffin bonnets that are more common are way less cute (how'd they become common in public where I live? That's like jammies in public). When someone said something like how this style made them feel like a 1930s Hollywood actress at her vanity, I thought, "OK. This is the one." The royal champagne color is classy. I can deal with my husband catching me in it. I keep it behind my couch pillow now. It's been good so far. It is well-made and easy to put pile in very long hair when sleepy. It can get a little sideways, but I am just relieved that it stays on. I haven't taken it off in discomfort at all, which I have done with eyemasks. I think my hair hasn't been as messed up in the mornings when I wake up on the couch, so I have a little confidence that my hair will heal! I have also worn it while doing housework, so it's proving to be more useful than expected. A good deal!

I truly wanted to like this sleep bonnet. I have very fine thin hair. It's a curse, I know. The bonnet itself is fine quality, silky smooth and a beautiful shade of pink. Problem for me is it is always slipping off my head in the middle of the night. I have adjusted it to max tightness and it did help a little. I am going to opt for a silk pillow case instead.
