Very tough Phone( Ulefone)
I bought this as an upgrade from my Armor5 which used android 9 this new phone used android 14. What surprised me the most was both phone were totally different in the way buttons worked could not close down the new phone had to ask someone else.Overall I like Ulefone Armor products because they are very well build and shatter proof. Just a pity after five years the software becomes,s obsolete. So in 2030, I will buy my 3rd Ulefone.(Android 20)

Great starter android for older users.
I bought this for my Dad as a starter android. He had never used the Internet. Its a big durable waterproof/smashproof block of a phone. It has finger print unlock, a good big screen, and many useful features. You can turn your phone into a magnifying glass, it has a torch and can do all the things a more advanced phone can do. It has hotspot options, google assistant and options to aid people who need help like answering the phone by putting phone straight to the ear. My Dad loves it.

Strong Phone, Good After Service
Took a chance on buying the uleFone for its claimed sturdiness and robust battery life. Well, I can say that it definitely didn't disappoint there. It's a very strong phone with a tough outer exterior. I just never had to be concerned about it in that sense. The battery life was great and served my needs well, even if on-screen time was considerable. After about two years using however, it hit an issue with corrupted files on start-up. This eventually led to the phone failing. I had no previous technical issues and couldn't perform a factory re-set. After contacting customer services, I received instruction which with which I still had problems performing. However, Herde was very helpful in customer service and offered to fix it or a partial refund. I gained enough confidence in the phone and the customer service that I was happy to upgrade to a new model with larger RAM, newer Android OS, more efficient processor and other better spec. I was issued a more than expected refund that was put towards the next phone and the after service was generally pleasant - something I feel is quite important. Looking forward to trying out my new model. Thanks uleFone.

OK but......
I will say first off I like the chunky rugged nature of the phone, and the fact it weighs enough to be used as a melee weapon in the upcoming Covid-21 apocalypse. Having said that the screen response time can be very slow, slower than January crawling by until that blessed payday. Apps hang like mad, press the camera button and it's sometimes 10 seconds before it opens.Very slow, screen lag and low memory but it'll brain Covid zombies and I dropped it in the sea and it survived so it lives up to the rugged description. Get the slightly more expensive one as it's a lot better spec wise.

Unbelievably bad
I really wanted to like this phone - I lost my previous one in the sea, so it goes without saying that I need something sturdy, so this seemed perfect. However, whilst I need something sturdy - I also need something that WORKS.It's fine in size and weight (yes it's a bit chunkier than average but that's to be expected) but it's shockingly slow, very unresponsive - I'm talking 5-10 seconds wait after clicking something for it to register; that's simple things such as swiping to view the apps etc.I think I could have lived with that (just) but combine that with the painfully slow internet connection (definitely not my network, as I tested it with another phone) and the fact that it failed to connect to most apps means it's unusable.Battery went from 100% to 70% in less than 20 minutes. All in all, a terrible experience. I returned the phone straight away and have just bought a cheap Samsung - reliable if, sadly, not waterproof so I'll just have to try not to throw this one in the ocean. If anyone ever invents a decent smartphone that can survive me and my cackhandedness, I'll be a very happy bunny

Definitely worth a try!
I use my mobile predominately for e mail, social media, banking and NFC point of sale purchasing. I swapped out of a Huawei after a couple of years following a cracked screen. Whilst I acknowledge I phones are great they are pricey. At well under 100 I took a punt on this. After a week I can report the following:Easy transfer of stuff.Easy set up.Meets all my needs.First time I've not had to buy a cover. Comes with screen guard + spare.Heavier than standard but with a smaller than average male hand I find it easy to handle.I use the provided wrist strap which will probably mean I drop it less.NFC works fine once I had worked out that you need the screen face up when presenting to the terminal. No intention of using underwater but casing seems more than up to a damp pocket on the golf course or sat nav on a motorcycle. At this price point it seems outstanding. I'd recommend you take a risk. You may be pleasantly surprised.

ALMOST... what I wanted
The main reason I first got a mobile phone was to be able to 'read' my Freestyle Libre CGM sensor and upload the data to the 'cloud'; this requires a smart phone with NFC capability. Unfortunately, although this phone has NFC, it sometimes takes several attempts for the phone to recognize the sensor and when it does, it needs to be held in place for 20-30 seconds for it to produce a reading. In every other way, this phone is exactly what I wanted and hoped for.
