Nice phone holder
As anyone with an X1 knows, a place to mount your phone is hard to find. This is the perfect solution! The fit is factory quality as well. The only minor issue I have is the right side that goes around the screen tends to lift up when the phone is mounted but that can remedied with a small piece of double sided tape. Highly recommend this for your X1.

Finally a phone holder that doesn’t block the vent!
I was searching for a holder that doesn’t block my vent and doesn’t constantly fall out. This is perfect fit for my BMW!I love that it allows you to connect charger in even after phone is place.I don’t love how with my phone in there with case with few credit cards, the holder often tips down and I don’t see a way to tighten that part.Overall, it’s vast improvement from other holders!

hard to adjust the height.
this is a 3.5 star review.installation is super easy. take off the film for the double sided tape and slide it on. boom. done.however, the reason for me having to lower the star rating was only because on the actual mount, the frame portion, you have 3 heigh settings and these settings are hard to adjust. i accidently pressed the tables that holds the mount and slide the frame up. now i cant find out how to slide it down. since the frame is now attached to my gps, i cant take off the fram to adjust it and i don't want to manhandle the tables in fear of breaking it. my phone sits much higher than i wanted. if i can lower the clip that holds the phone then i would definitely give it 5 stars. it does deserve 5 stars because its really good on my 2016 x1.one thing to note, the ball joint of the mount is not strong. it does easily move so if you hit pot holes or what not, it will move the phone. i think this is made for smooth roads and not roads that are pot hole ridden.

It broke after a few days of use
I was really bummed that this didn't work especially because of the price. Had high hopes but the part that tightens to hold the phone in place broke after a few days of use.
