Excellent feeling budget 96% and a solid upgrade over my last
Genuinely the nicest prebuilt 96% at this price range. The keyboard sounds great thanks to the silicone and foam dampening inside, the screen looks great, and the knob feels smooth and nice. The keycaps although not to my visual preference are incredibly nice quality. The keyboard was heavier than I expected for a plastic case, but this is a good thing. doesn't vibrate on my desk at all while I'm typing. this is entirely free from any hollow sound, so I don't feel like I need to tape mod it, but if I did, the keyboard literally comes with a tool to open it up, so it's very mod-friendly. This is a mainstay for my desk. The linear switches are quite creamy with the keycaps that are bundled with it. I have no problem with any kind of input lag or having to double back on myself from ghosting that would otherwise hurt my WPM. The keyboard is incredibly easy to set up too, with a link to the software on the store page, and the ability to just plug it in and go if you don't wanna mess around with that. Has 3 different Bluetooth modes which allow you to connect it to 3 different devices to swap between, has a wired mode, and a wireless dongle, and appears to have a USB A port on the back, presumably a passthrough.I would highly recommend this keyboard.

So Good, I Bought Two
I don’t usually write reviews, but after picking up my second RK ROYAL KLUDGE S98, I had to say something. This keyboard is hands-down one of the best I’ve used—especially in this price range.First off, the key feel and sound are just incredible. I’ve used a lot of mechanical boards over the years, and this one strikes a perfect balance: smooth keystrokes, satisfying clicks, and none of that cheap, hollow echo you get from lower-end boards. Typing on it honestly makes me want to keep typing. One of my favorite features is the multiple connection options. Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, and USB-C all work flawlessly. I switch between my desktop, laptop, and iPad constantly, and the S98 handles it like a champ. The swap is instant and reliable—no lag or connection weirdness.Build quality is also top-notch. It feels sturdy without being overly heavy, and the battery lasts way longer than I expected. The RGB lighting is a nice touch too—bright, customizable, and not over-the-top unless you want it to be.If you're looking for a mechanical keyboard that punches way above its price tag, this is it. So good, I couldn’t resist getting a second one.

Excellent.....so far
I have gone through quite a few keyboards. By that I mean trying this one and trying that one. Yes, I fell down the rabbit hole of trying to find the one that is supposedly the best. There is no BEST, but this unit comes pretty close. I chose the sky blue one. I have the tactile switches which, in my opinion, happen to be the best for me. I changed the keycaps to SA profile keys because the ones that come on the board, even though good, and I probably could have kept them on and been okay, I still prefer a taller key. So far, this is the best keyboard I have come across after simply changing out the keycaps. The switch is exceptional. The board is not loud, but you can still hear every keystroke. The little screen on it is actually pretty nice and intuitive. The only thing I can't figure out, and it probably cannot be done, is changing the time to non-military. Outside of that, it is pretty cool to see the time and other details on it. The volume knob is exceptional and very smooth. Overall, I am really liking this keyboard and at 61 years of age, to this day, this is the best keyboard........for me.

Nice functional keyboard for home office use
Let me start by saying I am not a gamer and I didn't buy this for the gaming features. That will become evident as you read on!I had my last Logitech keyboard for 5 years and if it was not for the fading keys and subsequent attempts to put stickers over them which all eventually got icky (technical term) and loose for the 2nd time, I would not have bought another keyboard. After much research the first replacement I bought (another manufacturer) came assembled but not quite because you had to change some keys if you were on Windows. After having confirmed it would come assembled, that unnerved me. Never changed a key and didn't want to break the keyboard from the get go. Had to use a magnifier for the directions. Nice board, nice colors, nice feel but not going to work out. So I returned it.Then I decided on this Royal Kludge RK-S98 keyboard. I hesitated because of too much white in the coloring but I was super happy to unbox it, plug the dongle into my computer, it paired right away and I could start typing immediately. I did have to refer to the instructions which I could read without a magnifier to set the clock and turn off the irritating color lights (I know gamers have to be rolling their eyes now if they kept reading my review this far lol ) but other than that everything is self explanatory. It is "missing" a few keys from my old keyboard like "end" but you do function PgDn key and you are at the end. And the front side of the key even says "End" so if you don't remember, it's right there.By the way, the colors really are beautiful if you want a backlit light show and you can adjust them easily. I found this out while finding out how to turn them off completely. The keys are double shot PBT which is supposed to be very effective preventing the letters and numbers from wearing off. Since that was my biggest issue with the Logitech, it was a very important factor in purchasing this one.The sound is nice. It is clicky but not obnoxious. It's easy and a nice sound and there is a Caps Lock Lit indicator which I have missed sorely since I got my last keyboard. But if you want to turn off those lights too you can.I almost forgot to add that there is a hard plastic clear dust cover. I've never seen that before and I do plan to use it.I wish I understood how to get a gif on the screen instead of the clock since my clock is already on my monitor but maybe someday I will play with it.Overall, I am super happy with this. I'll edit my review if things go south but I'm pretty sure this keyboard is home to stay.
