Great reception
Bought this when we cut the cord on satellite service. I wanted to ensure we could receive the local stations when tornadoes are in the area. Recently had a night of several tornadoes with the closest about 18 miles away - never missed a beat on receiving the local weather forecaster with clear signal and picture quality. In my areas we receive 22-29 channels (have 2 Of these and it depends on which side of the house and which story of the house as to number of channels)Wish the cable was longer due to location of my outlets and windows. That would be the only negative I ran into. One sits on a shelf and another hangs on the inside of the blinds.

Expensive isn't always better!
This antenna outperformed my expensive Channel Master thin "leaf" antenna by almost 90%. I say 90% because there is still one channel I can't pick up but nonetheless, I have the channels I want!

Small Antenna with Range
Small Antenna with pretty good range. Was able to pick up most of the channels I had with an older bulkier antenna.Very light weight and works well for small spaces. My only gripe is that the cable is too short. It needed to have a least an extra 2 feet to give you more flexibility to mount or adjust the reception

Very good
Works great. Make sure to scan the channels after you plug it in to your tv.

Great quality for both UHF and VHF
Good quality, antenna arms extend pretty long. Picks up channels my long range antenna was not able to, VHF and UHF. Highly recommend. Cable was pretty long, but I still added an extension. Easy to install, just about nothing to it. Looks sleek, cool. Good cable thickness.

Remember when there were only 3 channels?
And the tv stations went off the air overnight after playing the national anthem? Those days are long gone. I picked up 62 channels on this antenna. 20 that didn’t get put on the soil channel list.If you're looking to cut the cord or simply expand your channel options, the GE Amplified HD Digital TV Antenna is a worthy investment, ease of installation, the quality of reception and the variety of channels it captures make this antenna a fantastic choice for any TV. Highly recommended!I purchased one for myself, one for my mother and I’m going to be ordering a second one for her other tv because this one pulled in more channels then the different brand one she has.Ease of Setup:- Installation was straightforward, and the flexibility of the design allowed me to get creative. I placed the antenna outside, sandwiched between the window and the screen. The cord is thin enough to close the window without affecting the weather seal, which is a brilliant feature for those looking for a minimal footprint installation.Normally it can sit on top of the tv and isn’t distracting like some of the new odd shaped ones you have likely seen on here.Performance:- Even with my unconventional setup, the antenna's performance has been stellar. It picks up a wide array of channels, including HD signals, with minimal interference. The built-in amplifier ensures that even the weaker signals are boosted to a watchable quality, making the most out of its strategic yet subtle placement.

Too directional.
Way too directional. Difficult to mount. Can't find a way to mount it so it brings in both VHF and UHF stations because of the way the clamp works.

Works But....
On any indoor digital antenna there are two main factors that determine reception.Distance and location.I know that three of my main local channels are less than 40 miles away and to the South.Distance eliminated the other major local network. (I'm guessing close to 90 miles distance.)Where you place the antenna matters a lot. Clamping this antenna to the tv set did not work for me.However, raising it up near the ceiling and pointing it south works reasonably well. This antenna works for me but there are some caveats.Interference is one. I had trouble pulling anything in until I removed a portable, rechargeable phone and then moving the antenna around. When moving the antenna you have to re-scan every time. Another words, depending on where you live you may have to do more work to pull in local channels. A big city dweller might find it easier to do than somebody in a rural area.A plus for this antenna is that the adapter and all of the components that I need were included. For the price I'm happy with the reception that I get.
