Beautiful!
Absolutely gorgeous! High quality. Easy to attach to chain. Disperses water evenly through our garden and doesn’t allow for pooling. The color is perfect.

Beautiful Basin for Rain Chain
This is a beautiful basin for the bottom of a rain chain. The quality is exceptionally high. I thought it might be possible to use it as a hanging bird bath, but since it isn't really made for that purpose, it isn't built to hang even. It needs to be placed on the ground or some sort of short stand. It can be set to hold the water from the rain chain, or to gradually release the water from the bottom. It is beautiful when it arrives. Patina will develop over time when it is left outdoors.

beautiful and functional
Sturdy bowl, looks great with our rainwater chain. I used aquarium silicone glue for the anchor in the middle so it doesn't leak and it's serving double duty as a cute bird bath.

Beautiful and sturdy!
I added these to the bottom of a couple of rain chains and love them. They have held up despite having 2 small kiddos that like to yank, play in and run things over them.

Okay...I think
I had to return one of the first two of these. It was damaged (dented) where the bolt should attach to the basin and the paint was chipping around it. This one looks fine but the hex nut that fits the bolt is just a bit too big to tighten. I tried interchanging the bolt from the other one but it's just too big for the bolts. The hex nut and bolt are fine on the other one but I will have to run to Home Depot and find a hex nut that will fit this one. We'll see how they last out in the weather.

Attractive but horrible design.
Two major issues. First, the very cheap nut that attaches the loop to the dish has a different thread count than the loop, so while it sort of tightens, it slips off as soon as there is any weight in the bowl such as, well, water! I had to epoxy the nut on to keep it secure. Secondly, the loop attaches to a loop on the rain chain, and as soon as any rain falls in the bowl the bowl turns sideways, dumping out all of the water. The bowl needs to have supports from the sides to the rain chain in order for the bowl to stay stationary. I had to jury-rig supports to make it work. Not worth the money at all!
