Q: Does this work even with small breed dog?

I’m not sure about tinies. But I have a small Pekingese and she can’t get in. I was very surprised at how well this works. You can also adjust the width. I am very happy with it.

Q: I see lots of reviews saying it does not stay in locked position. How do you lock it and stop it from sliding?

If anyone received a Door Prop with Philips screws and are still having issues locking, please reach out to us at cs@thedoorbuddy.com. We are switching to Torx screws and a custom Torx L Wrench tool to make it easier to tighten fully.
