I followed other advise on other reviews and bought a 3 ounce spray bottle from Walmart used to spray each side with distilled water before installation and use. This worked perfectly for humidity, otherwise very dry mouth. Tip: Also purchased a velcro strap to keep mouth closed.

Update: The seller kindly offered to refund my money for this purchase. I could not use these again but the customer service provided was excellent.I forgot to bring my HumidX Plus while on a trip. I ordered these because they would arrive the quickest. These cartridges are not equivalent to HumidX Plus. They may be like regular HumidX. Unfortunately, unless I use the Plus it's not enough moisture for me. I start feeling symptoms of a cold and that's exactly what happened to me after one night of use. I couldn't use the cpap for the other 2 nights of my trip. Maybe these will work fine for some people, but not for me.

I use them on my ResMed AirMini when I travel. They fit fine in my setup (AirMini w/ AirFit P10 Nasal Pillows). According to the seller “This filter is an upgraded version designed for users in extremely dry environments who require additional moisture” I would rate them equal to the ResMed HumidX Plus.They appear to be made from comparable materials as the OEM ones, with the exception of the color scheme. They do provide effective humidification when I use them. My nasal passages stay hydrated throughout the night, preventing dryness.These are all white. Each cartridge lasts up to 30 days, but I toss them after each trip. The comfort and convenience they provide make them worth it.4 stars.I rate products according to the following scale:1 Star: Do not buy. Very poor quality, functionality, or other issues.2 Stars: Do not buy. Not as bad as a 1 Star, but it still has major downsides.3 Stars: There are some issues as described in my review. The perfect humidifier for the mini-cpap. Each cartridge lasts a three to four week trip. That eliminates the need for distilled water.
