Perfect for Green Cheek Conure
The media could not be loaded. 5 stars because 20 y/o green cheek conure uses this daily. She even flies herself into the backpack. She likes it so much she prefers chilling inside it over sitting on her playstand or on furniture (which makes life easier for her humans). We often set the bag on the console and it's like she gets to sit on the couch with us.She was nervous of the backpack at first and tried to jump through the clear bubble the first time we zipped her up in it, so caution there. Go slow. Luckily, she learned immediately and there were no further incidents of trying to go through the clear part. It's been her favorite place to hang out since.Great for moving the bird between the house and studio and going out for occasional rides or walks. She is so content looking out through the bubble. I chose this bag over other steel mesh bags for the superior visibility. This backpack has very good ventilation between the grommets on the sides and mesh door, but it does heat up quickly in warmer weather so be careful to keep your pet cool.Mesh door could be chewed through but this conure doesn't fixate on it and is easily corrected. She will just as happily play with toys or chew veggies if redirected, so you may be able to get away with the more fragile material of the side door, or it might be worth modifying if you can't.I carry the bag from the top handle to give the bird a gentler ride and to keep a closer eye on her, although it can be worn on the back just as well. Some reviews have complained of a smell. It did have a plastic smell at first and I let it air out 24 hours after removing plastic wrapping which improved it. I've had the bag several months now and it has no smell.Over time the backpack started to sag (which never stopped the bird from coosing to sit inside it) so we added a bit of wire to reinforce the shape which you can see in the picture.Cleaning has been ok, spot cleaning is easy on this material, nothing really sticks to it.Overall great choice for a conure-sized bird.

Neat little backpack, but caves in on your bird.
I purchased this carrier for my three year old Quaker Parrot. I'm quite happy with it.I struggle with finding good carriers for my bird that doesn't absolutely destroy his extra long tail, and this one is perfect to keep his feathers in good condition. He fits nicely, and there's room for an extra bird his size if needed. It's good size wise for budgies, lovebirds, conures, quakers, and maybe an eclectus or african gray, but the last two is pushing it.A few pros I can think to list is that the perch doesn't fray easily, which is important for the chewers, like my bird. The mesh in the side holds up nicely, but I'm sure he'll get through it with time. The food/water bowls clip pretty tight to the perch, which is good because he likes to stand on them. There's also a little toy clip on the inside, which is a nice little detail. But, just like pros, there are most certainly cons. My biggest con is that, if sitting on a surface and sipped up, it caves in right under the plastic door, completely crushing your bird. He's wary of the carrier now because of that and I need to work with him again. This problem doesn't occur if on someone's back. The zipper works very well on the door and the mesh, and the pockets come in handy for treats and his leash. He's also very comfortable in it and it's good for long rides or trips to places. I wouldn't recommend leaving your bird in it for more than one night, though.I think it's a fair product for it's price, and I'll definitely be keeping it, just a little disappointed with the caving in.

Not the best but it will do
I purchased this backpack to take my Quaker out with me on adventures and I like to give pros and cons:Pros to this backpack- it’s super light weight, it feels very sturdy, very minimal assembly required, and it’s not too big, it’s about an average Jansport backpack size, and overall very stable.Cons to this backpack- you really need to a fan for a bird if you do purchase this, the holes alone are not enough ventilation for a bird, I noticed without any extra my bird would pant and get to hot! Also, the food and water bowls aren’t very stable and allow a lot of spillage, and the rope that is supposed to allow the bird to perch is very flimsy and made my bird want to hide elsewhere. Another issue with the backpack is that it doesn’t maintain its shape, it wants to fold into a weird fold and gets all deformed and doesn’t really want to maintain the shape it just wants to cave in the middle and fold up on the bottom.Outside of the cons listed above the backpack is decent.

Perfect for a conure or small/small medium bird
Im giving it a 5 stars! :) it’s good quality and sturdy! Comes with rope/ two bowls that clip on. It even has a plastic tray for the bottom which I find even more handy for cleanup. I wouldn't put anything bigger than a sun conure in this. Maybe a pigeon. Eclectus or African grey would be too small and uncomfortable . Just a heads up :)

Price and quality
It's an amazing product with a cute look and a great quality, in my opinion it's extremely cheap for what it is.

Bowls are dangerous!!
the bowls will cut your birds feet open be careful! My little cockatiel had 2 cuts on his feet and thankfully i noticed it soon and got some blood stopping powder on it! as longg as you dont use the bowls it is pretty nice and easy to clean, the plastic gets pretty scratched up after a while but my bird loves being able to go on adventures outside of the house and using it to travel to the vet is also very handy.

Not chew-proof!!!
This backpack is adorable but be warned. If you have a little woodchipper or paper shredder of a conure (as most are) the 'screen door' on one side will immediately become an easy exit route. The rope perch was surprisingly sturdy and pliable. Clip on food/water dishes are great!! Made hurricane evacuation a breeze but definitely need to keep an eye out for nibblers.
