Car was boiling inside the overflow...replacing the cap with this one solved the problem! Good price and did the job.

Car was spilling coolant
My car was spilling coolant. When I looked at the coolant in the coolant reservoir it looked like it was boiling. The temp gauge was normal.After replacing it with a new cap, the spilling went away as well the ‘coolant boil’Confusing at first, but the cap was worn out and allowed air to enter my cooling system causing the ‘boiling coolant effect’ and spillage.All I needed was a new cap. Easy fix this time.Hope this helps

You get what you pay for
Yeah, this part was inexpensive, but it’s Hella cheap after maybe four or five times taking it on and off to check my coolant level it broke. The inside piece got stuck in my reservoir tank the last time I tried to take it off see picture. it’s barely 2 weeks old.
