Great for weekends away, late nights, or if your cat likes to eat at 3am!
I really like this thing! I had a long enough return window to test it out. I don't want this to be too long, so I will try and put just the important tips here.1. When you create a meal schedule, NAME each dish; ie breakfast, lunch, dinner etc. This will help you if you want to reopen a dish later.2. You CAN in fact re-open a dish that has closed, as long as the feeding plan for the day has not ended. DO NOT use the Feed Now feature to reopen a dish, use the Edit Meal Schedule feature. Carefully choose the dish you want to reopen, if you named them it's easy to tell which dish you are looking at. IF YOU ONLY HAVE ONE MEAL A DAY SCHEDULED, you CANNOT reopen the dish!! Once a set Meal Schedule has completed, you cannot edit it and you will mess up the next schedule if you just click Feed Now. Feed Now is for when you are not using a pre-set Meal Schedule.3. I pre-chilled my catfood in the fridge when we left for 3 days. You could even experiment with freezing the 3rd day; I haven't tested how long it takes to thaw in the feeder.4. There is battery back up, and the app tells you if the power goes out.I also purchased a PetLibro dry food dispenser, which I like even more than the wet feeder.I have a Reolink camera set up so I can see the feeders and know that the food is being dispensed. The app also tells you when the cat came to the feeder and for how long, but I wanted to SEE her.Get your cat used to the feeder weeks in advance of a trip. Cats are fussy about their food dishes!I am considering using this feeder full time. It's so convenient to clean and fill the dish the night before, and set it and forget it for the next day. If you've got one of those cats that wakes you up at 3am to eat, here's your solution lol.I LOVE that because the food tray is cool and covered, it's super easy to wash. The leftover food doesn't dry up and glue itself to the bowl like spackle. The food tray being plastic is also not an issue imo. If you have bacteria growing on your cat dish, you need to learn how to clean.I do not get people saying it's too tall. Maybe for very small kittens? My cat is on the smaller size and she can reach just fine.If your cat likes it's food room temp or warmed up, this is not for you. It stops chilling 30 minutes before the scheduled meal time. Depending on your home temp, I don't know how fast it warms up. If your house is really warm, I would not leave it for 3 days. It might get too warm for food safety by day 3.Room for improvement?? Yes. I would like it to stay open longer. I would like more than 3 meal options. I would like all 3 meal cups to be cooled, not just the back 2, along with the option to tell the machine how far before feeding to stop cooling each dish.Does it do what it says it will do? Sure does! I'm happy with it and I look forward to future upgrades.

Great product but does not last and zero customer service support
Update 3/7 Iām reducing my 4 stars to 1. Not only did the unit stop working in less than 7 months, Iām also gettin no response from Petlibro. Multiple email requests and request through their support site have gone unanswered. Itās unfortunate, because other than the cooling unit failing, I really liked the product.Update 3/2/25. Iāve had this unit for 7 months now and today I went to clean and refill and found a blue tint in the food wells. It looks like some sort of mold. I also notice the unit wasnāt cold like it normally is. Every Sunday I thoroughly wipe down the unit and dust the side vents. I know the issue isnāt a result of clogged air vents. I have an email into Petlibro for support. Iām concerned that my pet may have eaten moldy food and also that itās been less than a year and this product is already failing.************************Update: my ginger has finally figured out the dispenser and is eating from the unit without any issues. At 4am I hear him make a mad dash to the kitchen just seconds before the dinner bell. I think he hears the door sliding open! Absolutely love this feeder.****************I really like the petlibro wet cat food dispenser. Its modern design and easy setup/maintenance are features that I appreciate. The app tells me how many times my cat visits the unit to eat and the duration.I also like the option of the smart notification feature that sounds every xx minutes for 10 minutes, and stopping when your pet starts eating. The main reason for purchasing this unit was so that I didnāt have to getup every morning at 4/4:30am to open a can of wet food. The first morning I walked my cat to the dispenser to show him his food. He was quite skeptical and didnāt really eat so I scoped out the food and placed it in his regular bowl. The next morning I walked him over a minute before the dispensed time so that heād hear the bell. He still wouldnāt eat. 5th morning I realize about 5am he hadn't eaten much so I walk him over and watched him eat. I noticed that he had to cock his head to the side to eat. As I watched, I realized the compartment area is kinda small for his head and I think heās experiencing whisker fatigue. I scooped the rest of the food out and placed it on a paper plate and he ate it right up. I donāt mind getting up at 4am until he gets the hang of the feeder but if heās having difficulty eating from the unit, I will need to send it back. We are on day 8 now, and Iām working with him to associate the ādinner bellā to the unit. Heās still not getting it but he is a ginger after all. It might take a little more effort. Overall I really like this product
