Anker seems to make the best hubs. This particular one has the right combination of ports for my MacBook Pro: I can plug in my USB-A keyboard, a USB-A wireless mouse receiver, a power cord, and an HDMI cable to one of my monitors. Since it's a Mac, I can't use the second HDMI port on the hub - but I can plug my second HDMI cable directly into my MacBook and successfully have two external monitors at once, without any software install required.This thing is compact, handy, and up to daily use.

** updated review - seller reached and offered a replacement or full refund. I appreciated the prompt customer support. **I have had non-stop issues with this hub. The connection is unstable and I keep getting warnings about it form my computer. I don't advise powering the computer through it. Also, no matter what USB port I use for the keyboard/mouse dongle, the connection keeps dropping. This happens with everything I plug into it.

Initially, I had some issues with this device, but after some phenomenal customer support from Anker and some research on my end, I discovered the product works perfectly, but the USB-C connection on my laptop doesn’t support video connection; however, it works perfectly for my wife’s laptop, and it’s compact enough to be stored on the desk when not in use and remain out of the way.I would highly recommend it, but make sure your device can utilize the USB-C port for your intended purpose.

I have had this for just over a week and it is working great. Just plug it in and it works. No problems with multiple displays or with providing enough power to my laptop.

I could not get this thing to work properly with my dual monitor setup. It gave me one monitor at 3840X2160 and one at 800x600! How is that useful on two 32" monitors?

Wife wanted one to use multiple monitors with her laptop and this fit the bill. Plug everything in and configure windows and away you go. No issues for months now.
