Much better than the wired Ring doorbell camera. I had the wired one but the chime in the hall buzzed constantly so I removed it and got this battery operated one and I love it. My neighbors across the street were arguing and their voices were picked up so well by the Ring they sounded like they were on my porch. The picture quality is perfect and you can see up, down and both sides very well. I’ve only had it installed for one week so I’m not able to say much about the battery except I completely charged it before installing it and after finishing all the settings following the installation instructions the battery had drained down to 62% and a week later it’s at 54%. It came with a charging cable and device to remove it from the wall so it can be brought in to charge it.

Okay, I've had a Ring Doorbell Pro 2 for about 2 years. Always had issues and upgraded my transformer from 16VA to 24VAC and the issues dissipated, didn't disappear, just fewer of them. For some reason, if you "tap" the bell button with a mechanical doorbell ringer, the Wi-Fi is disconnected. This use to occur every time until I changed my transformer. Likely an electronic doorbell ringer would have resolved this. In any event, my original Ring Doorbell never had issues so I went with this Battery Doorbell, why? Because it has a battery AND you can hardwire it, no more Wi-Fi issues. If the doorbell needs additional power, it can draw from the battery anything the transformer is not providing. To be honest, there is much difference between the Battery Doorbell or the Pro 2 (now Pro); Field of view is the same and sound quality is just as good. I don't receive the "bird's eye" view of how someone walked to my front door, but I have several other cameras that will capture that footage. At a 1/5th the price of the Pro, why wouldn't I change a naturally faulty doorbell out.

Excellent battery operated camera doorbell works well with my Alexa and phone. Shared with my Marine friend so he can see and talk to me as I come and go to check on me. It makes me feel safe as I live alone in an Apartment building.Speech is clear mic works great wide ceiling to floor camera angle. Not too sensitive ideal size. Great value for peace of mind. Functionality is excellent.

Super practical and does exactly what I need it to do. I love how it has a community on the platform to chat with other ring users in the area. I didn’t expect it to come with a subscription but I guess that makes sense. It’s affordable though. I LOVE my camera

The Ring Video Doorbell has been a solid addition to our home security setup. The video quality is sharp, the two way talk is super convenient, and the app notifications are quick. Setup was simple, and it integrated easily with our other smart devices.I do wish the motion detection was a bit smarter. It picks up cars driving by on the street, but oddly doesn’t always catch vehicles pulling into our driveway which is what I actually want to monitor! It’s a bit frustrating, but not a dealbreaker.Overall, it’s still a reliable product that gives peace of mind. Just be aware the motion detection range can be a bit finicky depending on placement.

I love my ring doorbell!!! I have no complaints on this product, I can see everything in real life time, the pictures are very clear, and yes, I can talk to people without opening the door. It's worth the price. I'm thinking about buying one more for the back patio. Yes,I highly recommend this product.

I wasn’t expecting it to work as well as it does and have such a perfectly clear picture. Fantastic unit I’ve ran it for about a week and I have used about 2% of the battery. I will eventually hook into power. The installation process was very smooth and even included a video of mounting the unit. Could not be happier. A five dollar plan every month meets my basic needs and I can always go up if my needs change. I am looking at getting a few cameras.

Desde el primer momento me encantó su diseño moderno y elegante, se ve perfecto en la entrada de mi casa y le da un toque más sofisticado.La instalación fue muy sencilla, incluso para alguien que no tiene mucha experiencia con este tipo de cosas. En menos de 10 minutos ya estaba funcionando.Me gusta q todo lo q pase afuera lo puedo tener gravado ahí . Además, se nota que está hecho con buenos materiales, se siente resistente al tacto. Y cada cosa q pasa por el frente él lo detecta y te avisaDefinitivamente lo recomiendo si estás buscando un timbre bonito, funcional y a buen precio. ¡Yo estoy feliz con el mío!
