Question for seller: How many ice packs are included? (Recent reviews indicate just 1, whereas description clearly states 20).
Where do you find the expiry date. I have been all over box and individual packets and cannot find date.

Ideal.
These are great to keep in the car. You never know when a dog walk can result in an injury, to human or dog. Or even to help cool down.

Effective
I’ve taken up running, but have to look after my ageing knees. I like to ice my knees after a long run and, for a run that ends back at home, a small bag of frozen peas kept in the freezer can’t be beaten - and can be reused many many times. These cool packs are not quite as effective (not as cold) as a bag of frozen peas, and can’t be reused (or even eaten), but for a run that terminates anywhere other than home, they are pretty darned good.

They get cold instantly and the temperature is really impressive. Unfortunately, the cold only last a few minutes. Not worth it at all.In vest in freezer bags and fill it with ice.

I am very pleased with this product. Easy to use, instead of ice bags/packs that go in the freezer, you simply twist to activate. The coldness lasts several hours.

Easy to use and works well
Following total knee replacement I used these for when I was travelling or at work and didn't have access to a freezer for the full knee ice pack. They work well for swelling and are easy to use

arrived well, as far as kool paks go they are good. as strange as it sounds I'm hoping I never have to use them.

You have to be strong to get them to work
I did not realise that these frreeze packs were throw away after one use .Also having arthritis I find it difficult to get them hem to work .

(Recent reviews indicate just 1, whereas description clearly states 20).","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"I got a large box with 20 packs inside- I’m guessing the negative reviews are from people who have never used anything like this before, so are not using the product correctly or have unrealistic expectations- you have to fully burst the capsule inside, you’ll know when it busts because there is a loud pop and the crystals turn slushy and liquid and get cold quickly. This is obviously not like ice, but it does get very nice and cold for about 20 minutes and is ideal for emergencies out and about. I have used the ones you can buy from Boots for £3-£5 for a box of 2... these are the same, they don’t last quite as long but are otherwise the same for a much lower price. To keep the coldness better, shake the pack every couple of minutes. Ideal for insect stings, sports injuries, migraines, cooling someone down that’s overheated on a hot day (that’s what I use it for). I carry 3 in my bag when I’m going out- if you want to do the 10mins on 10mins off thing you can just burst a new pack every 20 minutes, these are inexpensive enough to do that and light enough that you can carry several in your bag at a time."}},{"@type":"Question","name":"Where do you find the expiry date. I bought mine in August 2015 and they expire in 2017-05. The lot number is 2014-05 so the Kool Pak brand appears to have a 3 year shelf life.
