Highly recommend
Very nice. Worked great for our dog who had IVDD. He healed up fast and we believe this heat pad helped.

Seems sturdy and well thought out.
This is only my first night using this. But I’m very impressed first of all with the packaging. It is well and sturdily packaged with a soft carrier bag and an extension belt. It was easy to set up and I have old injuries so I’m not expecting fast results. But it seems well made and well thought out so I’m glad I bought this. It feels comfortable while on, and I really believe in red light therapy.

It works! Study up on red/infrared!
I bought this on sale for about $32. I am really pleased with the general quality for that price. It doesn't look like it is just going to melt down immediately. It is a 5 volt device so you can plug in to AC or use it with any 5 volt usb back up battery which is pretty cool. This is a light mat, not a heating pad, although the lights do get warm eventually, it is a completely different animal. I was looking for a therapy device and I had heard some things about red/infrared light so I bought this. I really knew very little about how it works. The mat has both red light and infrared light bulbs. You can use either or both at the same time. The device defaults to red/infrared at the same time for 30 minutes timer at level 3 intensity. This is a dangerous setting and one reason I give less than 5 stars. Infrared will give effects in as little as 1 minute. (I studied up after the purchase). The timers settings break down to 5 minutes intervals starting at 5 minutes and going to 30 minutes. It would be nice if the timer broke down to minute intervals, but I can live with 5 minute intervals. You wouldn't want to use 30 minutes unless you were only doing red light. Then there are the intensity levels. High intensity will go through light clothing. This is a light mat not a heating pad, so you want the light effect. It does not need to touch your body, and indeed is more effective, if the mat is not touching your body. In clinical situations they use expensive rigid light panels that do not touch the body at all. The mat is a sort of stiffened soft covered foam that will bend, so nice to wrap around an elbow or something or loosely around the curve of your neck. I bought the smallest one and I like the size. I had a really great effect doing 9 minutes around my throat and on my jaw for some dental problems and the effect was euphoric and diminshed precipitously after 9 minutes, and having over exposed before, I knew to turn if off. I had less dramatic effects with some tendonitis at my elbow. I overexposed, fried my elbow on the 30 minutes default setting the first time. Don't do it! This device a great way to inexpensively get in on red/infrared light therapy, but definitely go study up on medical effects. There is a big learning curve. Look for medical and clinical use and observations, not reviews. YouTube is good. This light mat does not come with much directions and the default setting is dangerous.

Incredible device
Best $30 something dollars I've probably ever spent. I have been dealing with Staph infection and apparently light therapy helps kill the infection (with prescribed meds), along with relieving the associated painful inflammation. My dad uses on his knees and for his neuropathy. The bang for your buck is incredible. I have only used on the pulse light setting - and I use for the max time of 30 minutes. Would recommend to anyone looking to have less inflammation, pain, infection.

Easy to use and relieves pain.
The packaging is very nice and professional. The materials are of high quality, and the organizer pouch is very nice to keep everything in one convenient place.I injured my wrist/thumb while golfing last summer and it has been an on again off again issue. The other day I shoveled both mine and my neighbors driveways and sidewalks and my wrist was as painful as it had been since the initial injury, so I wrapped it up and set it on 3 for 30 minutes. I could see the glow of red lights so I know it was on and I could feel warmth, but not what I would concider heat. And about 15 minutes into the therapy, I could already feel relief. I have since used it on my hip, shoulder and neck. It's so nice to have an alternative to oral pain medication.I have recommended it to a few friends already.

So far, so great!
So far so good! We’ve been using it every day for a month in places we’re sore or have joint pain- knees, hips, hamstrings, calves, lower back, neck. It’s really easy to strap on and use while working or watching tv. We think it’s helping because my hips and joints are t hurting as much (but I’m also doing reformer Pilates to strengthen muscles). My husband loves it after crossfit or running.

It works!
Love this! Soothing and I can already tell a change in my skin texture with minimal use. Great product.

Easy to use and worked for me
Either it was a strong placebo effect or these really work. I used them for a few weeks after getting home from rehab after breaking my pelvis, but still being in considerable pain. These are pretty weak compared to models that sell for many hundreds of dollars or more, and I’m not advocating this for other people , but I carefully upped the amount I used them and eventually found that the highest setting for 25 minutes almost daily provided relief and didn’t burn my skin.
